Hey Members,

Due to this week's grappling grading and Novice MMA comp there will be a few minor changes to the class schedule this week.

THURSDAY 6:15 GRAPPLING is CANCELLED and the grading will run in its place - all are welcome to attend!

SATURDAY 11AM GRAPPLING and 12PM SPARRING are CANCELLED as the Novice MMA competition is running. All are welcome to come spectate for a $10 spectator fee - we have 7 fights with 6 of our members competing so should be a fun little event!

TONIGHTS 5:30 Strength class is cancelled - apologies for the short notice. Coach Coop is under the weather but should be back by thursday!

Apologies for the short notice but we will be cancelling this weekend's BBQ and pushing it back to UFC 300 on April 14th due to the 40 degree weather and lack of air conditioning. We want to barbecue snags not our members. Novice still running as normal tomorrow, first fight from 12.30!!

Just a reminder that we are running a modified timetable this coming weekend due to gym events and the Labor Day public holiday Monday 11/3.

The changes are as follows:

SATURDAY 9/3

All 9AM and 10AM classes will run as normal - all other classes cancelled due to the Novice MMA competition we are hosting.
All are welcome to attend for a $10 spectator fee - first fight should start at 12.30.

MONDAY 11/3 LABOR DAY PUBLIC HOLIDAY

9.30AM Grappling & 10.30AM MMA classes will run as normal - all other classes are cancelled.
OPEN MATS from 9.30AM - 11.30AM and 4.00PM - 6.00PM - all members are welcome to come use the mat and equipment but no coached classes will be run in the evening.

ALSO, we will be hosting a UFC 299 BBQ/ watch party this coming Sunday 10/3 to help raise funds for coach Val Sharipov who will be heading overseas to do an international training camp - all are welcome but we are asking for a $20 donation to help cover flights, accommodation and training fees.

Members please note due to the Novice MMA competition this coming Saturday March 9th - All 11AM and 12PM Saturday classes will be cancelled this week.

9AM Fitness, 10AM Kids BJJ, 10AM Wrestling & 10AM Boxing will all run as usual.

For anyone interested in spectating the Novice fights, its $10 entry and the fights should start at roughly 12.15.
