Elizabeth is one of our lovely Clinical Psychologists here at Cova Psychology that collaborates with people in safe, compassionate, non-judgemental and client-centred space.

Elizabeth predominantly has experience working with adults and supports people with, anxiety and mood disorders (including depression and OCD), trauma and complex trauma (including childhood trauma, abuse and neglect), PTSD, personality disorders, issues with self-esteem, emotional dysregulation and sensitivity, binge eating disorder, sexuality and gender diversity, issues with sleep, grief and loss. Loneliness has a significant impact on our mental and physical health. Research shows that young adults and middle-aged Australians are experiencing the highest levels of loneliness compared to other age groups. Clinical psychologist and trauma therapist, Chris, highlights how we can still feel lonely even when surrounded by others. If we don't feel seen, understood, validated, connected etc, we can feel lonely. If we feel this enough of the time, it can lead to mental health issues like depression and anxiety.
