Working from home can be tough on the old body.
One of the best ways to combat tightness and pain from sitting for long periods is to move!
Take regular breaks from your desk or makeshift workspace. Make sure to get up, stretch and take a short stroll during your lunch break (maybe take a brolly with you today). These small habits will help reduce mental and physical tension.

If you’re anything like me, getting a “good night’s sleep” is easier said than done. Especially during lockdown.
Here are a few simple tips to help improve your sleep hygiene…
* Routine - try going to bed around the same time every night.
* Sleep when sleepy - only try to sleep when you are feeling sleepy.
* Get up and try again - if you haven’t fallen asleep after around 20 mins, get up and do something calming until you feel sleepy.
* Avoid caffeine - try not to consume any caffeine for at least 4-6 hours before bed.
* Bed is for sleeping - no watching tv, laptops or working in the bed. Let your body only associate your bed with sleeping.

The weekend may be over but that doesn’t mean you can’t take an hour or so out of your busy week for some self care
If you love a nice soak in the bath to unwind, try adding a cup of Epsom Salt to make it even more beneficial.
Epsom salt has been used for years to help restore magnesium levels, reduce muscle soreness and promote sleep and stress reduction.
Chuck in a few drops of essential oils to make it even more luxe.
Don’t have a bath? You can add Epsom Salt to a tub of warm water and create a wonderful foot soak to ease sore and tired feet.

The use of hot stones allows heat to deeply pe*****te the muscles, encouraging them to relax quickly whilst using remedial techniques to alleviate pain and discomfort.

* Make yourself comfortable
* Loosen any tight clothing
* Begin by listening to your breathing without changing its natural pattern
* Breathe in through your nose
* Put your hands over your stomach and feel your hands rise and fall.
* Imagine you are breathing into your hands. Relax your stomach muscles. Take deep, slow breaths. Remember to breathe at your own pace
* Breath out through your mouth slowly
