Exciting Announcement, we’re delighted to welcome audiologist Caron to Dr Dan’s Health and Fitness, starting May 3rd!

With over 30 years of experience in audiology, Caron brings a wealth of expertise and passion to our clinic. Having obtained qualifications in South Africa before immigrating to Australia in 1998, and a personal understanding of hearing loss, she is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to the community.

Hearing tests for adults and children over 5 years
Hearing aid fittings, follow-ups, adjustments, batteries, and repairs
Bluetooth accessories for hearing aids
TV listening devices
Assistive listening devices
Tinnitus assessment and counselling
Earmolds
Ear protection for swimming, noise, and music, and everything hearing-related.

15 years, gone like a blink of the eye

Today marks 15 years in this wonderful community.

I’m so glad I made the transition from hospital based medicine and teaching at Monash University in 2009.

My beautiful wife and I were expecting our firstborn at the time and we thought General Practice would give us the balance, I’m so glad I made the transition.

Thank you to all of the patients and community members who have helped me in this journey.

Her services are for the whole community and we are proud to support a local who is passionate about helping patients.

Proudly supporting Will with Push for Better supporting mental health. Will is a local who has been providing bulk billed dietetics services under a care plan and personal training in Monbulk. We are very proud to support locals who support the community. His services are available for the whole community and please speak to your doctor to assess if you are eligible for his services.

Thanks to Brad and Cass from Back In Motion for joining me Push for Better, supporting mental health. They provide a range of services for the whole community (not just patients of our clinic) and bulk bill care plan referrals in Monbulk.

Back In Motion offer physiotherapy, exercise physiology and massage services to help people optimise their function and maintain their health & fitness at all ages. Services include manual therapy, dry needling, pre and post-surgery rehabilitation, exercise classes and the GLA:D, Onero and Life! programs.

We are excited to welcome Clare as part of the team at Dr Dan’s Health and Fitness. Her background of being a Counsellor/Advocate at CASA House has now developed into providing support and healing for victim/survivors of trauma through Trauma Sensitive Yoga. Clare has delivered the yoga component of the Body Based Therapy Program. NDIS funding may be applicable to her care. This service is for all community members please call Clare on 0415 789 266. Knox audiology (Monbulk at Dr Dan’s Health and Fitness) will be providing ongoing audiology services to the whole community. You do not need to be a patient of our clinic to have a hearing test and their initial services are bulk billed (no referral required). In partnering with Back In Motion we are proud to introduce Cass our new Exercise Physiologist working at Dr Dan’s Health and Fitness.

Cass undertook her studies at Deakin University and has graduated with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology. She is passionate about how exercise can improve one’s health and help them achieve their goals, and has a particular interest in exercise physiology for chronic musculoskeletal, metabolic, and cardiovascular conditions.
