Make wearable art with Emma Grace in a free workshop offered at Strathdon House and Orchard Precinct, supported by the Whitehorse Waste Education team.
This workshop is aimed at kids aged 9 and older. They will learn to create bespoke statement jewellery using colourful recycled plastics, vintage jewellery and op-shop objects.
Emma Grace is a jeweller and workshop facilitator passionate about environmental and ethical sustainability. Having made and taught craft for over 20 years, she thrives on creating a positive environment in which young artists can flourish. Check out Emmaโs website here: www.emmagrace.com.au

Join the fun this upcoming festive season by chalk-painting local shop-front windows.
Businesses will be able to choose from a diverse range of festive and non-traditional themes. Each successful artist will be allocated a shopping precinct to paint, which will include at least five individual shop-fronts.
This initiative is part of Activate Whitehorse.

Learn how to make a zine (self-made booklet or mini magaZINE).
Helen & Sam from Sticky Institute will be able to answer all your zine related questions and show you how to make a killer zine of your own. You could even go on to sell it at the Whitehorse Zine Fair, held on Saturday August 27.
