Hi, I’m Caitrin - a busy Mum of 2 little girls. I am originally from Ireland but now call the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia home. I am a Paediatric Intensive Care Nurse and when I am not busy running after my little girls I enjoy horse riding, socialising with friends and the odd glass of wine in my spare time.

So as you know over the last few months, like many other Mothers I’ve been at home with my children as we self-isolated. It was a very different pace of life for us all than we were previously used to but I have loved it! It has been great sharing breakfast together, building fairy gardens, baking, learning to ride bikes and so much more and it got me thinking...

What if I was able to have a little business that I worked from home on, during hours that suited me and our family. After more than a decade of working as a Paediatric Nurse right around the world, I have seen many new fads and come across more gadgets and gizmos than in Ariel’s cupboard!

So I thought, why not try my hand at a little online business selling some of the beautiful products that my own children have used and loved and so the idea of Darby and Co came together, named after my home Darby Lodge.
