Stay vigilant against scams. While the outage wasn't due to a hack, remain cautious of phishing emails and unexpected communications claiming to be from CrowdStrike, Microsoft, or other organisations.

Late last year, and across two of our key States, we announced both Mark Cameron and Stuart Gradie as Acting General Managers in NSW and Victoria - respectively.

Given the manner in which both leaders have embraced the opportunity in front of them and in addition to their professionalism and broader industry experience, Network Insurance Group are delighted to confirm the formal and permanent appointment of both Mark and Stuart to each respective State GM position, ensuring continued strong leadership for our teams across NSW and Victoria.

These appointments take effect on 1 May 2024 and will continue to report directly to Adam Farr, Chief General Manager (CGM), NIG. Further, and importantly, Stuart Gradie will also retain National General Management responsibility for our Financial Lines Division.

Now in its third year, Network Insurance Group is thrilled to announce Sha Rijal as the recipient of the prestigious IWD 'Women in Leadership' Scholarship Bursary for 2024!

Following a rigorous internal application and selection process, coupled with final stage interviews with an external independent panel of senior female leaders from across the Industry, the business was proud to not only see the level of commitment given to all the aspiring applicants, but is proud to see that being such a core tenet to the overall applications. Important lesson learned: Never burn bridges, be true to yourself, and focus on building authentic relationships for long-term success.
Attributes of a good broker: Keeping clients' best interests first, being an expert in the field, providing excellent customer service, and staying connected with industry developments.

Joel Morrell:

Network acquires majority holding and controlling interest in Armstrong’s Insurance Brokers.

Network Insurance Group (NIG) has recently acquired a majority shareholding and controlling interest in Armstrong's Insurance Brokers, marking a significant milestone for both companies. As an existing shareholder and long-term business partner of Armstrong’s, NIG are thrilled to build on such great foundations, and are confident that this merger will enhance our capability in Tasmania, enabling us to offer clients even better service and surpassing expectations. With NIG's expanded network of expertise and experience, as well as broader access to markets and infrastructure, we're committed to delivering great client outcomes that meet the unique needs of our customers.

To support this, we're proud to announce that Jenni Jones, a long-term stalwart of the business, has been appointed as the new State Manager (Tasmania) of Armstrong's Insurance Brokers, where she will lead the team alongside the existing leadership team of Chris Connolly, Paul Holmes, Heath Clark, and Emmy McKillop. With this team in place, we have never been as committed to building on the legacy and goodwill that has been built by generations of staff and their clients over 40 years in and around greater Tasmania.
