Spreading the Word, Advancing the Truth
When God places us in a specific place and position, it is for a good and greater purpose 😇
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?
And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” - Romans 10:14-15
Biblical Christianity refuses to separate historical fact from spiritual meaning. Its core claim is that the living God has acted in history, especially in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Other religions tell people what they must do to achieve salvation, or become holy, or reach Nirvana, or connect with the divine. The burden of obligation is on the individual to perform the right ceremonies or perfect the right rituals. The Christian gospel is unique because it is the narrative of what God has done in history to accomplish salvation.
..The apostles were treating the resurrection in a way akin to what scientists today call a crucial experiment—an event that confirms or disconfirms an entire theory (or an entire theology). In their minds, historical facts and spiritual truths must cohere. Facts and faith must agree. Truth is a unity.

One Piece of Evidence to Support the Resurrection of Jesus Christ
Despite the number of pieces of evidence that can be presented, 1 Corinthians 15:3-8 can be used as the necessary piece of evidence for Christ's resurrection. The historical facts weaved in it explicitly demonstrate how God has acted in history to accomplish man's salvation.
Christianity is hinged in the reality of the risen Christ.
"We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his." - Rom. 6:4-5
Darwinism has changed the course of scientific history through its contributions to biology, particularly the theory of evolution since 1859. But studies show that it has fundamental limitations, at least, to two vital areas in scientific research: (1) Limitations on evidence, e.g., concerning genetic code, anatomical homology, and fossil records (transitional forms and Cambrian fossils); and (2) Limitations on explanatory power, e.g., concerning precursors and irreducibly complex systems. Data presents, including the confessions of evolutionists, that the origin of life might ultimately point to an intelligently guided process that can only be induced by a transcendent, intelligent, divine causal agent, that is, God.
Unevolved: A Brief Summary of the Fundamental Limitations of Darwinism Since 1859, Darwinism has changed the course of scientific history through its contributions to biology, particularly the theory of evolution.[1] It holds the twin pillars of (1) universal common a…
15 Lines of Evidence that the Apostle Matthew wrote the Gospel ascribed to his authorship.
Every new year may virtually drive people to start a new beginning to attain a new and reinvigorated life, that is, clearly a better life than the previous ones--perhaps through self-help books, motivational sources, and the like.
Although these may be helpful to a varying degree, these may not suffice the essential outcry of man's heart to achieve meaningful change, a significant quality of life, or a life that truly makes sense.
But concerning this, the Bible has something to offer which stands tested over time: A true new beginning starts with a true encounter with Jesus Christ.
“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
2 Corinthians 5:21 NIV
“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
James 5:16 NIV
Have a blessed new year and a nurtured prayer life this year!
God Bless everyone. To God be all the glory! God is good!❤️

“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.”
2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV
"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him." - John 3:17
A brief outline by Wes Huff about why celebrating Christmas on Dec. 25 is not a pagan practice or derived from its sorts.
Merry Christmas!
Significant events during the intertestamental period (between Malachi and Matthew) occurred. Some OT prophecies were fulfilled (e.g., from Dan. 7,8,9); the Greeks conquered Israel; the Septuagint was written; Epiphanes desecrated the temple; the Maccabees revolted; the Romans came; Jewish groups (Pharisees, Sadducees, Sanhedrin, Essenes) arise; the Herodian (an Idumean) empire headed Judea; the Greco-Roman culture was adapted; and many more.
Perhaps we can infer that such a time of silence was also a time of extreme rebellion where polytheism, syncretism, Gnosticism, paganism, religious impiety, political debasement, and the like were all inclusively practiced by man including those who are expected to be holy (not far from what we currently have). All of these happened after God's prior consecutive warnings through the prophets and various communication types were all conveyed.
But the 400 years of silence does not mean God's absence. Silence may invoke attention. Silence may already implicitly convey a message or a preparation for it. Thus, silence may indicate a grand prelude to a significant emphasis, especially when all words and cautions have already been told.
After such a deafening silence and morally hostile world, God came in a most unexpected way--through the most humble way as it should be while fulfilling prophecies (e.g., Isa. 9:6, Mic. 5:2)--that is, by being born through a virgin's womb on the most special night in a manger. He was clothed by his fragile frame, vulnerable as he is--but full of grace and full of truth--ready to redeem mankind.
"Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!" - Philippians 2:6-8
What does Christmas mean to you?
More than 700 years before Jesus was born, Isaiah had already prophesied his coming. "And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" (Is. 9:6). Take note of the Mighty God. All of these happened after the 400 years of silence. After such a silence, the Word became flesh and dwelt among us (Jn. 1:14) changing the course of history and transforming people's lives.
The naturalist E.O. Wilson once said that we are drowning in information while starving for wisdom. Arguably true. But the God of the Bible gives us hope and assures us that we can ask Him for wisdom. He gives it generously to all of us without finding fault.
At the very least, knowing God's transcendence, supremacy, grace, and providence aids us in the key paces of intimately knowing Him.
"Who made God?" assumes that the necessary uncaused cause had a cause, but it is quite the contrary. Only those things that begins to exist requires a cause, not God.
We Christians are called to be set apart for Christ and to be prepared in providing answers and reasons for the hope that we have in Christ Jesus our Lord. This is not for our own sake but for others to be saved.
