Today, our incredible Foundations 1s and 2s used the power of poetry to showcase their voices in our SPS Poetry Slam.
Our students all spoke with careful accuracy and great confidence as they delivered their poems today. We are very, very proud of them all. πππ
Today our 17 of our Superstars competed at the Division Athletics. They did very well to get there and 2 of our champs are going onto Regional events.
Special thanks to the parents and staff who helped out with transport for this event.

Year 5s went to Scoresby Secondary College yesterday and took part in design technology, food technology and science activities. Thank you for having us SCC.
The 3/4s have taken their love for writing to new heights this term. They have diligently honed their writing and editing skills, to create engaging picture story books that reflect their passion for storytelling, and becoming authors themselves. They really enjoyed sharing them with their parents and special friends too! πππ
The curtains have just closed on VSSS 2024, but the memories will linger. Our students have made us proud with their outstanding performance, demonstrating their ability to work together and have fun along the way.

Yay!!! 100 days of school and learning was celebrated by our Foundation kids today. The mark of halfway through their first year of school. The 1/2s joined in the activities as well. What a great way to bring counting and Maths to life!
Day 2 of 5/6 Ballarat camp. Our kids had a good nights sleep and a hearty breakfast today. Then onto lots of learning about the way things were and life on the goldfields.

5/6s headed to Ballarat Sovereign Hill camp this morning for their 3 day camp experience.
They have arrived safely, settled in, and are ready to start exploring the ways of olden day life on the gold fields this afternoon.

Hooptime today with our 3/4s. We had a fabulous day at the State Basketball Centre. A huge thank you to Brett and Justin who coached the Allstar teams, and Aaron who scored. Thanks also to Larissa, Ms Dal and Josh for coaching and organising the day. Our All Star girls were finalists π
Our 5/6s attended an incursion today with scientists from Thermo Fisher. They explored properties of DNA and learnt to extract DNA from a strawberry. What a great way to start term 3! ππ
