This August, we're collecting period products for the Share the Dignity campaign!
Share the Dignity aims to donate 500,000 period products in 2024, ensuring that women, girls and those who menstruate who are doing it tough, have access to period products when they need them.
We are accepting donations now! Drop off your donations today at the pink 'Share the Dignity' bins, located at each of our libraries.
Please ensure all donations are kept in their original packaging.
From Monday 5 August to Sunday 18 August, we will be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to local charities in honour of Homelessness Week.
Bring in your items to any of our libraries and hand to a staff member to be donated to the following charities: Transit Food Support, Community Information and Support Cranbourne, the Cranbourne Food Truck, Manna4Life, The Andrews Centre and Vinnies.
Libraries are more than just our wonderful selection of books!
To celebrate National Library and Information Week, we want to showcase some of the services available at Connected Libraries that you might not know about.

On this episode of Book Matters we are thrilled to be talking to two fabulous writers about their latest releases. First off Janine chats with Canadian crime writer Robyn Harding about her latest thriller The Haters; a twisted tale of fame, obsession, and the dark recesses of social media. Then Kate speaks to Australian author Lia Hill about her novel The desert knows her name; an exquisite novel that speaks to a deep longing for connection with the land, and the silences that persist in contemporary Australia.
We hope you enjoy!

Welcome back to with the Local History Archive!
Fountain Gate was given it's namesake after the housing estate development in the 1960's. A staple of this estate was the large water fountains that graced the entrance.
These fountains once spouted out water, but were turned off for the final time after the 1970's due to the water flooding the highway.
Do you remember these fountains working? Let us know in the comments below.
