Promotes excellence so that teachers and school leaders have the maximum impact on student learning.
Today, Friday 2 August, is Australian Primary Principals Day! It’s an opportunity to say thank you to our primary principals for all they do to help shape strong foundations for lifelong learning.
We’re inspired by the words of Yvonne Rinaldi, who is included in AITSL’s Voices of the Profession series. Hear from more principals about their career journeys here: https://bit.ly/4d2KVqF
“The role of principal places you at the swirling centre of conversations that all have the common desire: to do the best by children. What greater reward can there be in life than to know every working hour of your week is devoted to this cause? For this is the reason why we all join the profession initially: to make a difference.” - Yvonne Rinaldi

We had the privilege of collecting this beautiful artwork by artist Tegan Murdock from Ngumpie Weaving, crafted using traditional Aboriginal weaving methods by Highly Accomplished and Lead teachers (HALTs) during this year’s HALT Summit.
This piece symbolises the unity and collaborative spirit of HALTs across Australia. It's a testament to the innovative nature of our teaching profession and will soon be proudly displayed at our office. Special thanks to Tegan and all HALTs involved!
