💛💙GRAND FINAL DETAILS💙💛
The biggest day of the year is fast approaching and we’ve got the details below🦅
Head down to Casey Fields and spend the day with us cheering on the Gold & Blue!
💛💙U16 BOYS GRAND FINAL SQUAD💙💛
Congratulations to our U16 Boys who will head out onto Casey Fields this Sunday in their quest for 2024 premiership glory! This has been a fairly consistent group all the way from U8 footy and in 2024 they’re making their first trip to a Grand Final.
There’s an incredible belief in this group right around the club and we’ll be hoping they can achieve that ultimate prize!
Lead by Superstar Captains Will Cortese and Brodie Whittaker these boys have definitely have the cavalry to get the job done.
The coaching duo of Dan Nisbet and Josh Van Doorn have prepped and primed their group all year, lead an incredible pre season and have the game plan to get the job done.
Be there Sunday in your gold & blue and make plenty of noise to help get the boys across the line🦅
💛💙AFL SOUTH EAST AWARDS💙💛
What an exciting announcement this one is! For all the individual and team success in 2024 were incredibly grateful and proud, but, this one might be the most important recognition of the gold & blue in 2024!
Our very own Jo Sproull was recognised as the leagues “Volunteer Of The Year”!
We’ve known how incredible she is for a long long time so it was great seeing her be recognised!
Give or take a decade of team managing two teams, Our longest standing treasurer (Who has the club in an outstanding financial position), Current Vice President, One of the first to arrive every Sunday and always one of the last to leave every Sunday.
Such is Jo’s knowledge, she could probably quote the leagues by laws, she could probably quote our canteens stock levels and price list, she could probably quote the merch stock level and price list and would know 99.9% of our Players, Coaches and other volunteers by name.
Jo is an incredible club person and this weekend will play an integral part in our U16 Boys journey toward the ultimate success!
Next time you see Jo around the club, thank her! Thank her for all her work and creating a culture that we all get to enjoy.
💛💙LEAGUE BEST & FAIREST💙💛
What an extraordinary night at the AFL South East Junior Best & Fairest event yesterday evening. The club had four boys invited to attend and all four will return to the nest with some new silverware🏆
Absolutely incredible achievement from all four of these superstars!
Pictured from left to right:
Max Davies - U14 Boys 3rd Best & Fairest.
Cody Sharam - U13 Boys Runner-Up Best & Fairest.
Tyson Larner - U13 Boys 3rd Best & Fairest.
Archer Frenken - U11 Boys 3rd Best & Fairest
With this many acknowledgments at this level we know the club is in a great place on field! These young athletes have represented us in the best possible way and we’re incredibly grateful to have athletes like this at the Eagles.
Congratulations Cody, Tyson, Max & Archer on an outstanding season of footy💛💙🦅
💛💙LEAGUE BEST & FAIREST💙💛
What an incredible way to top off and enormous season by our superstar U12 Girls Skipper.
Our very own Swayzee “Captain Swizz” Coutts stormed away to collect the award of the leagues best and fairest player in the U12 girls division.
Not only did Swizz take out the U12 Girls award but she also took out the Ann Marie Brown Memorial Medal, awarded to the female footballer across all divisions and all age groups with the highest amount of votes with an amazing 22 votes.
Congratulations on an incredible individual year but also as an incredible captain. We’re all very proud down at the nest!💛💙🦅
💙💛CRANBOURNE JUNIOR FOOTBALL CLUB💙💛
We love our junior club, the junior club has been the fabric behind our 32 club premierships. The strength of our club is defined by the players who keep coming up every year, just like the boys who have made their debut this year in the unders, reserves and seniors!
This Saturday, we play Springvale districts in a do or die game that will define the finals series. We would love to see our boys and girls in blue and gold right around the ground!
Every child wearing Cranbourne merch, will receive 2 potato cakes and a drink voucher from the main gate upon entry.*
The reserves start at 12, we would love to see the junior players and parents get behind us as we try to keep the season alive!
So put that hoodie, polo, jumper, guernsey, beanie, hat etc on and make your way to our home ground!
💙💛

💛💙U13 BOYS GRAND FINAL SQUAD💙💛
Congratulations to our U13 Boys who will head out onto Casey Fields this Sunday in their quest for 2024 premiership glory!
Lead by Superstar Captain Cody Sharam and Vice Captain KJ Kent these boys have definitely have the cavalry to get the job done.
The coaching duo of Kevin McDonald and Ethan Mark have prepped and primed their group all year, lead an incredible pre season and have the game plan to get the job done.
Be there Sunday in your gold & blue and make plenty of noise to help get the boys across the line🦅
With 3 of our teams fighting for the bragging rights on Sunday, make sure you purchase any last minute merch. Weather is looking good. So head on over to the online store and purchase a cap or a polo, or both and look the part while barracking for the U13's, the 16 girls or the 16 boys!
Make a day of it and watch all 3.
The club will be open from 6pm - 7pm Tuesday and 6pm-9pm on Thursday night for any online orders made.
Let's get behind our teams and show our support!
Go Eagles!
💛💙U16 GIRLS GRAND FINAL SQUAD💙💛
Congratulations to our U16 Girls team for booking their place in the 2024 Grand Final!
The belief amongst this group has never wavered throughout the whole of the season. Having never played a single game with their best 22 they’ll look to have a full squad of availability come Sunday.
The girls have been lead beautifully by Captain Marlie Wood who was also runner-up league best and fairest, Vice Captain Bianca Hancock, Deputy Vice Captain Lucy Browne, Top Age Leader Asha Kennedy and Bottom Age Leader Sienna Parker.
The coaching duo of Adam Brown and Mario Bellinvia have worked to bring the group together both on and off the field and appear to have the girls peaking at the right time.
We hope the gold & blue army will get behind the girls and make plenty of noise this Sunday for them!
💛💙LEAGUE BEST & FAIREST💙💛
What an extraordinary night at the AFL South East Junior Best & Fairest event this evening. Our club had four players invited to attend and left with four trophies!🏆
Absolutely incredible achievement from all four of these superstars!

Congratulations Marlie, Daniel, Will and Brodie on an outstanding season of footy💛💙🦅
U13 Boys, U16 Boys & U16 Girls all went straight through to the Grand Final on the weekend. We all know that these three coaches walked into work with their chest out on Monday🤣💛💙🦅
💛💙DANDENONG STINGRAYS CALL UP💙💛
Just when we thought the good news in our U16 girls team had all been shared this week, we got more to share!
Our very own Paylen Cargill has received the call up to the Dandenong Stingrays Vline Cup squad for the upcoming U15 carnival. The carnival will showcase the best U15 talent in the state and our girl will be there to do her thing!
The number one ruck in the comp it’s no wonder her talent has been recognised. Paylen is a ruck that has the tank to run a full four quarters and is so skilled she doubles as an extra midfielder. She is also a talented centre half back and an incredibly strong overhead mark. She has the ability to play as regular midfielder, a winger or even a forward. A genuine utility player who’s tap work is an absolute gift to her midfield counterparts.
“It’s safe to say we where devastated when the Casey Demons pinched her during preseason with an offer to play netball at a high level, then the joy was equal when we got the call to say she’d like to continue to fit her footy in also. She’s probably the best overhead mark I’ve ever seen from a player her age and her tap work in the ruck is something that not many coaches have the joy of working with and the best part is she does her whole body of work with the biggest smile on her face” said her coach Adam Brown when asked what his thoughts where on her selection.
Everyone at the Eagles wishes Paylen all the best for this exciting next step in her career!🦅
💛💙GIPPSLAND POWER CALL UP💙💛
Just when we thought the good news in our U16 girls team had all been shared this week, we got more to share!
Our very own Sienna Parker has received the call up to the Gippsland Power Vline Cup squad for the upcoming U15 carnival. The carnival will showcase the best U15 talent in the state and our girl will be there to do her thing!
A talented small forward Sienna has really found her role and excelled in 2024. She possesses a ferocious fend off and has the talent to finish with a goal more often than not.
She leads the league in goal kicking for a small forward and also is the clubs leading goal kicker.
With incredible skills by hand, foot and marking she can also play bursts through the midfield but her forward craft is the elite aspect of her game.
“It was only a matter of time before she was noticed. She’s as good as I’ve seen in the forward line of any side for a 14/15 year old and that includes boys and girl. She’s an incredible talent” said her coach Adam Brown when asked what his thoughts where on her selection.
Everyone at the Eagles wishes Sienna all the best for this exciting next step in her career!🦅
💛💙U14 GIRLS PRELIM💙💛
There’s only one game of footy this Sunday and it’s a massive game!
Get your gold & blue on and get along to support our U14 girls in their quest to book a ticket to the grand final!🦅
📅 Sunday 18th August

💛💙U11 Boys💙💛
Our U11 Boys fought on incredibly well as the underdog in their contest today. It was a game that could have gone either way.
We’re very proud of this groups first year chasing premiership points and playing finals that same year.
They’ve been a proud side all year that’s played with heart and camaraderie and we’ll know they’ll be back better again in 2025🦅
💛💙U15 Boys💙💛
Sometimes on the footy field, it’s just not quite your day. Unfortunately for our U15 Boys it was one of those days today.
Struck by injuries in recent weeks that meant the strongest side wasn’t available for finals is always a heavy blow!
Being the reigning premier this group where looking to go back to back but unfortunately there’s no second chances in elimination finals.
We know they’ll be back, they’ll fight again and they’ll fight hard. We’ll look forward to seeing these boys back in action in 2025!🦅
💛💙U14 Girls💙💛
Tough day for our U14 Girls but the scoreboard probably doesn’t reflect how close this game was. If a heat map was available it would show that majority of the play was in our forward half, unfortunately we where just unable to put that on the scoreboard.
Our girls will reset, reload and come out firing in a prelim next week and look to book themselves a rematch with Carrum-Patterson Lakes in a fortnight’s time.🦅
💛💙U13 Boys💙💛
Straight through they go!
Runners up in 2022, second last in 2023 and now straight through to the big dance with the week off in 2024!
With just 3 years of competing for premiership points under their belt, these boys sure have experienced the highs and lows of footy. This year, we think they’ll experience the ultimate high.
Today they knocked off first placed Karingal for the second time this year making it 2all in the one on one battle of the top two sides for the year.
When our U13 boys play their best footy they’re incredibly hard to beat! Coach Kev Hunter will have his boys primed and ready to go for August 25th and we can’t wait to watch them go about their work!🦅
💛💙U16 Boys💙💛
Not only did these boys end a 9 year finals appearance drought today, they also took a ticket for a direct trip to a grand final!
Knocking off the first placed and undefeated Tyabb, the U16 boys showed that their best footy is very very good!
They never took a backwards step all day and maximised their opportunity.
This group have looked likely in recent years but just haven’t finished the job on a couple of occasions. That’s absolutely not the case in 2024! Dan Nisbet has his group peaking at exactly the right time and they look to be the real deal.
We can’t wait to see what this group does in the big dance a fortnight from now🦅
💛💙U17 Boys💙💛
Our U17 boys finished up their 2024 campaign after spirited performance against Dromana today.
This group of young men finished their junior years with genuine Cranbourne “heart on your sleeve” football. The boys finished with a wooden spoon in 2023 but made a decision during preseason to work harder and be better, they did just that.
To rise from a wooden spoon to a finals appearance is a great acheivement and we’re extremely proud. Majority of these lads have been in Gold & Blue since U8’s and we hope to see plenty of them in Gold & Blue in the senior ranks.
Incredible season boys! Well done!
💛💙U16 Girls💙💛
Huge win by the U16 Girls today! After trailing at every break they stormed home to knock off first placed Bonbeach by 16 points in an incredible 4qtr performance. Straight through to the grand final they go!
The girls will enjoy a week off and hope to rid themselves of some flu and allow some injuries to heal.
We’re looking forward to seeing what this group can produce in a fortnight at the big dance!🦅
Well done U15’s, you fought until the final siren.
3/4 time in the U15’s. We need everyone to get behind the boys to help bring it home in the last 1/4. Come on Eagles! 🦅 💙💛
Grand final bound 🦅 💙💛 The U16’s are off to the big dance!
Half time in the U15’s. Come on Eagles - you can do this. 🦅💙💛
U16 boys still in front in a close battle. Let’s bring it home in the last quarter boys. Go Eagles! 🦅💙💛
Strong start by the U15’s. Good work Eagles 🦅 💙💛
U16 boys still have a small lead at Half time. Let’s hope the boys have a big second half. Go Eagles! 🦅 💙💛
Great start by U16’s. Go Eagles 🦅 💙💛
