You’re invited to our 2024 Marist Young Adult Retreat! 🎉 This year, we’re taking up the annual theme of the Association of Saint Marcellin Champagnat for our retreat - First Light: Reveal the Spirit. 🙏 This theme invites us to reflect on the grandeur of God in creation and how we are called to spirit-filled action in our lives as followers of Jesus. 🌟

📍Venue: The Hermitage, Mittagong, NSW.

📅Date: Arrival at 4:00pm Friday 28 June until 1:30pm Sunday 30 June.

💰Cost: $150 for food and accommodation.

🚗Travel: Travel expenses are the responsibility of participants.

And just like that, our first bread run🍞 of the year has come and gone! This past Wednesday, six of us met up with the beautiful people at the and helped out with the bread run!🌟Such a lovely night focused on service and learning about the life experiences of the volunteers and people we served at Exodus.♥️ Every one of us had a fulfilling and wonderful time, and we’re eagerly looking forward to seeing more of you, Young Marists, on June 26th for our next run! 🏃‍♀️🏃

Today marks the beginning of Advent, a four week preparation in anticipation of the nativity of Jesus at Christmas. The candles symbolise the light of God shining upon the earth, through the birth of Jesus. We light the first candle to symbolise HOPE!

Remembrance Day is held on 11 November, the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I to commemorate all armed forces members who have died in the line of duty. We observe a 1 minute's silence at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month because that's when the peace settlement came into effect.
