Full Job Description

Tasks should include:
Trust Account receipting & processing of payments
Trust & Office Account reconciliations
Credit Card reconciliations
Payment of Creditors
Debtor Management and Collection
Client Invoicing
Reconciliation of Office Disbursements and Debtors
Weekly Accounts Reporting
Monthly Performance Reports & Budgets
Payroll including submission of monthly PAYG & Superannuation
Practicing certificate compliance
Annual Trust Account Audit support

We are very interested in hearing from you if you have:
Ability to confidently manage a number of priorities concurrently
Strong computer skills including Excel
LEAP & MYOB Proficient
Are deadline driven, proactive, results orientated and are highly adaptable
Have proven experience in Office Management and bookkeeping
Have 5 years + in Accounts role

The late Ms Ashleigh Petrie nominated her mother as the sole beneficiary of her death benefit with her superannuation fund, Rest Superannuation. It appears, (former) Magistrate Rodney Higgins, made an application to Rest Superannuation, days after Ashleigh’s death, for him to receive the death benefit (even though he and Ashleigh had only been in a relationship for seven months). Ms Petrie’s mother has been challenging (and continues to challenge) Rest Superannuation’s decision. This has resulted in extensive legal fees which continue.
