Happy 7th Anniversary to Bare Laser and Skin! It's amazing how time flies when you're surrounded by your Bare Family, laughing and creating memories. Seven years ago, Andy and I took a chance and opened our doors to the world. Now, we find ourselves in our new clinic home, with a growing team that we love.

Yesterday we looked a wonderful client and her skin laxity concerns to the lower abdomen, post pregnancy. Our treatment of choice is Thermage FLX as its one of the best treatment solutions for skin laxity, designed to improve wrinkles and loose skin on the face, and body. When treating the body, treatment time is typically quick and many (like this client) see in immediate improvement to the skin.

My Journey ❤️
I’m always a little nervous sharing my raw photos from a few years ago. I think therapist feel a never ending pressure to look great and have perfect skin all the time. Yet we are no different to anyone else and our skin reminds us of this fact each year. I love sharing my photos to take away the assumption that I’m “lucky” for having good skin or that I’ve got “good genetics” on my side. Again, my skin like yours wants to play up, pigment, breakout, and age. Yet a few key steps and treatments have made a huge difference in reversing the above and pushing the pause button on ageing.

Some of my favourite treatments are:
1) Thermage FLX with Ash to tighten my skin and promote new collagen. We focused mostly on the lower half of my face to help improve the appearance of my marionette lines and developing jowls.
2) Anti-wrinkle with By Cosmetic Nurse Ally]
to reduce fine lines from developing on my forehead, around the eyes and chin.
3) Laser Rejuvenation with Ash and Alexandra to target my pigmentation and while purging our deep set congestion from my pores.
4) Skin needling with Alexandra to further stimulate collagen while reducing the appearance of my pores.

I did recently had threads done to the lower half of my face with By Cosmetic Nurse Ally] and I’m staring to see a lovely improvement to the area where she treated. So stay tuned.

For those who missed MY Clatuu Alpha
fat freezing before and after… here it is.

I’m always going to jump in first and be your human lab rat. But with this one, I went in super confident on my potential results. Why? Fat freezing works best on soft, jelly squishy fat. And sadly for me, my arms were exactly that. But swishy fat is the BEST type of fat to target with Clatuu Alpha. And as you can see here, in only two treatments on the left upper arm, the results speak for themselves.

With that being said, it’s time to balance my arms up. So over the next two moths I’ll enjoy two treatments to my right side so by Christmas time ill be spaghetti dress ready!

Why Clatuu Alpha?
We offered Cool Tech years ago (the generation before Clatuu Alpha) and the results were honestly breathtaking. However, knowing there was a newer, better, more sophisticated device from on the way I knew it was something worth waiting for.

Which areas do we treat?
Our favourite areas to treat are the under chin/double chin, upper arms, upper and lower abdomen, bra fat, back, flanks, waist and inner thighs.

How many applicators do I need?
This is an easy one to work out yourself. Get a marker and draw around the boarder of your problem area/s. Then work out how many extra large iPhones would fit in that area/s. Each “iphone” equates to a single applicator costing $450.

How long until I see results?
The transformation starts around week two. Majority of your results can be seen around week four however peak results are seen by week twelve.

Is it painful?
Hardly. Most compare it to putting your foot or hand in a bucket of iced cold water. This sensation usually lasts for 5 minutes before the area goes nice and numb.
