VMLCG Members can now visit the website and enrol for Nanya 10.0 - celebrating 10 years of projects at Nanya Station, a research facility owned by Federation University. Registration is now open and we leave 1 April (definitely not an April Fool's joke!) and return 6 April.

We would like to wish all our members, partners and anyone we have worked with this year, the very best wishes for a safe and Merry Christmas and we will see you all in 2024 for another year of Landcare!

The VMLCG has a great partnership with Grow West, one of the largest and long-lived Landcare project in the country. This year, we are very much looking forward to assisting again with planting and logistics at the Ballan Water Treatment works and surrounding areas, as the team moves on with its replanting programme. On July 30 the VMLCG will be assisting Brimbank Council with their annual National Tree Day Community Planting event at Taylors Valley Parkland in Keilor.

On June 27 through to July 5, once again we will venture north to the warmth and welcome of Nanya Station, owned by Federation University and a wonderful wild life sanctuary in the far west of NSW.

We will be assisting the reserve manager Matt with the continuing rehabilitation of the former station - removing remnant fencing across its 40,000 hectares, assist in carrying out building works and mapping the water and drainage system around the station buildings - to name a few of the tasks - the work list will greet us when we arrive!

Well, another year is almost done and dusted - we'd like to take this opportunity to wish all our members and supporters a very safe and Merry Christmas - and a Happy New Year 2023!

We will be back at the end of January with n ew projects and plans so stay safe, look after each other and see you on the other side of 2022!
