Southern Waters Ski Show Team

We love hearing about our members adventures during the off season!! This winter Jemmah Paton is having an amazing time working at camps Equinunk and Blue Ridge, a summer camp in Pennsylvania. During her time over there she has done her lifeguard qualifications and is working on ski dock. Her days consists of driving the boat and jet ski for water skiing and tubing, and teaching kids aged 7-16 to waterski, wakeboard and wakesurf. This is awesome and can’t wait for you to contribute what you have learnt overseas to our season starting in October!!!!

Our Most Valuable Player award voted by our members this season went to our club president Michael!!!! He is a superstar driving the boats and all the work he does behind the scenes too!!! Woo go Mike!!

This years Most Improved award was awarded to Jakara, she had come such a long way over the last season awesome work!!!! .b

This years presidents award went to Jayson Smith for not only his work skiing on the water but also his work he does behind the scenes including organising all our merchandise for the club!! Well done Jayson!!

This years coaches award which is presented by our coaching team Dean, Luke, Rachelle and Lauren has been awarded to Arthur!! For always giving it 100%, never giving up and improving on his personal and team goals!! Unfortunately Arthur wasn’t able to attend on Saturday so his award will be presented to him at the beginning of next season!!!

This years Moomba Award went to Andrea Roza for her amazing work at the event this year in Melbourne, this award was also present this year by VWSA secretary Fran Hynes thanks for attending Fran.

For the second year in a row the winner of our support crew award is Andre Roza for his amazing work he does behind the scenes and on the dock during our shows!!!

For the second year in a row the show person award was awarded to Richard who brings our shows to life!! Unfortunately Richo was unable to attend our presentation night but we look forward to presenting him with his medal next season.

This years most committed award went Dean Serong who has done amazing work over the 2023/2024 season

Our recipient of the southern waters team spirit award for 2023/2024 season is Jemmah!!! Congratulations and thanks for bringing your joy to the club!!

The award for the biggest bromance/girlmance for the season (also known as the most known friendship) went to Lachlan and Jamison who have become fast friends this season. .b.7

Our most disorganized member for the 2023/2024 season was Jayson Smith, to help him get organized for next season we have given him a diary to put all our events in there!!

The winner of our my INJURY PRONE for the 2023/2024 season is Jarrod Spry, we have given him a first aid kit hopefully helps him out next season!

The award that nobody hopes they receive at the awards night WORST ROPE ROLLER!! This year it went to Jarrod S, we are sure his skills will improve next season especially with his lessens from head coach deano

Our winner for the BIGGEST STACK of the season for 2023/2024 was David Stewart!!! These awards are voted by our members!!!

We acknowledged and thanked our newest members of the team last night who had their first season in 2023/2024 with Southern Waters!!! Well done Jamison, Drew, Evie, Steph (absent), Nick, Jess, Tahlia (absent), David and Oliver!!!! Awards presented by our head coach Dean Serong

This weekend the team is getting together to celebrate the 2023/2024 season and also present our awards for the season!!! Stay tuned for our winners to be announced!!

The weather is getting colder for sure as we head into winter but we had time for one final training at the national water sport Centre before our season ends!!!
