As we prepare for another week of Yarraleen Cricket, we will take time this weekend to celebrate and commemorate the great players who have come before us. Calling out all past and present Yarraleen players to come down and enjoy Past Player’s Day at Bulleen Park this Saturday.
NOTE: Trivia Night has been cancelled for 2024, we sincerely apologise but hope you can still come down and enjoy Past Player’s Day

Our U16’s take on Heatherdale CC at home tonight in a must win game heading into finals. Canteen will be up and running so can’t wait to see you down there!

Congratulations to club legend Jason Fergus on clicking over 600 career wickets for Yarraleen last week. There isn’t much this man hasn’t achieved, and being the first player in our clubs history to tick over 600 wickets is simply remarkable. A true great of the Yarraleen Cricket Club, and I’m sure plenty more to come for Fergs. Go Yarras

The Yarraleen Cricket Club send their deepest condolences to Paul (Chaps) Chappell and family on the passing of his father Geoffrey.

Paul has provided enormous service to Yarraleen as a player and administrator and we will wear black armbands this weekend in honour of Geoffrey.

Funeral details as follows:

Rosary 11.00 am followed by funeral service 11.30 am on Friday at St Clements Bulleen

Followed by a drink at the Veneto Club Bulleen afterwards.

Happy New Year to all members of our Yarraleen community. Following the success of our annual Christmas Party, we turn our attention to the next function on the 3rd of February. This includes our marquee Pink Stumps Clash with Templestowe CC, along with a Ladies Day event that you don’t want to miss! Additionally, we are hosting our first-ever iPod Shuffle Night in the evening with many stacked prizes, including a jackpot winning ticket.

With the persistent rain that is around the Eastern Suburbs at the moment. Today's Saturday afternoon matches has been cancelled.

All Saturday afternoon matches in the Shield Grades, A to E and H to K will revert to a one day match next Saturday (09/12/2023). The one day grades in F and G will be deemed as abandoned games for their round 8 matches scheduled for 02/12/2023.

Which means full coloured clothing and white match balls for our Shield Grades and all other grades may wear coloured tops and white pants, but need to use a red match ball.

KRISPY KREME PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Peter Kotsiris once again lands himself in the record books guiding his team to victory off the back of a career high score. He lit up the pitch with an outstanding innings, scoring an incredible 147 runs. Well done Kotsy!
