⚾The B1's will host the Dingley Baseball Club (3v4 Elimination)
⚾The B2's set sail to take on the Frankston Tomatoes (3v4 Elimination)
⚾The C2's also play at home, against the Bonbeach Bluejays (3v4 Elimination)

⚾The A1's repeat their Round 15 fixture and host the Pakenham Pumas Baseball Club in their 3 v 4 Elimination Final
⚾The A2's secured 2nd spot and a double chance (hopefully not required) in the finals. They will play away at 1st placed Dingley on Sunday at midday!

It goes without saying - 5 teams in finals is huge for Our Club!

We're putting the call out now for all players, supporters and families to turn up on mass to as many of these games as possible. Cheer loud, be proud and let's...

A round with huge finals implications, saw two impressive individual efforts be rewarded with the Tar Barrel Player of the Week.

🏴‍☠️JACK PIERSON and DAMIEN BODEY🏴‍☠️

🔴JP led the A2 Pirates in their strong win over the Pumas, going 3-4 and crossing the plate on three occasions. Just the form you want to take into a finals series!

🔴In a must win game for the B1's, Damo hurled a complete game, striking out 9 Panthers and allowing no earned runs the way. The clutch performance not only ensured a finals appearance for the Pirates, but propelled the B1's into 3rd and now hosts of a final on Saturday!

⚾️Despite a loss on the weekend, the 1s finish the season in 3rd place and are playing finals!
⚾️A huge win sees the A2's jump into 2nd spot, earning a double chance in the finals!
⚾️The B1's have stormed into the finals, winning 3 of the last 4 to take 3rd place!
⚾️5 late runs see B2's take wining form into their finals campaign, finishing the season with a win against Moorabbin.
⚾️They gave themselves every chance, but unfortunately the C1's fell short in their efforts to make the finals.
⚾️The C2's will again feature in postseason action, finishing in 3rd place.

5 out of 6 Senior teams playing finals... what a tremendous effort by all in such a big season for Our Club.

The Mornington Pirates Baseball Club are seeking a passionate individual to continue leading the development of our growing summer program for the 2024/25 VSBL Season, and build on the success of last season.

The key responsibilities would include:
- Managing game days (Sundays) for the 1s and 2s teams
- Conducting a weekly training program for senior players
- Attending Club events/functions throughout the season

A big day at the plate for Dunny, as he went a perfect 3 for 3 and crossed the plate on four occasions. One of his three hits went sailing over the fence for a Home Run (that apparently could have been a 2 run-shot, had it not been for some adventurous base running the play prior).

Our first dual-POTW winner for 2024! Seano had another day out for the A2's in their victory over Dandenong.

He kept the Angel's offense quiet for 5 innings, striking out a couple and allowing only the one run to cross the plate. That wasn't all though, as he went 3 for 3, with 3 RBI's on the day!!!

The Club needs to ensure a few things are in place to make sure of a smooth start to the season, and your input and feedback on a few items will be greatly appreciated.

Mother Nature did her best, but all teams got games in on the weekend!

3 games to go in the regular seasons for our seniors, and all teams are in contention for finals!!!

🔴 The A-Grade teams got it done against Dandenong... both sitting in 3rd and at least 2 games clear of 4th.
⚫ The B1's has a key W against Bonbeach, now only 0.5 games behind 4th.
🔴 The B2's struggled, but at 3.5 games clear of 5th they are locked into finals.
⚫ The C1's fought hard but came up short. They sit half a game outside of the 4.
🔴 The C2's lost a close one, and currently sit in 3rd place.

In what was a close loss to Dingley for the B1 side, Mitta contributed both in the box and on the mound. He went 2 for 3, with an OBP of .750! Mitta also gave the Pirates every chance for victory, hurling 2 important scoreless innings late in the piece... with the Pirates unfortunately going down by a single run.

🔴For those who have seen Jack play (and train) he goes at a million miles per hour with energy by the ship load! This energy was definitely on show in the C2's game on the weekend, which saw Jack go a perfect 5 for 5 at the plate (more affectionately known as a Michelle Fivefa), scoring twice and knocking in another 5 runs for the Pirates.

⚫While he was nominated for his efforts in the C2's, Jack also played in the C1's, collecting another hit and swiping 2 bases to take his daily total to 3 stolen bases.
