Every time I come down, I either do group weight classes with mum, or free weights at . Lifting weights is just as much for my mental health as it is for my physical.
From always chasing to be under 50kg, to chasing keeping over 60kg, oh how things have changed. 😆
No more food anxiety or extreme food binges when I come down here.

If you can't handle the short-term fluff, you don't deserve the longterm gain.
Watching your waist and other no-so-favourable fat storage places increase in size is just part of the gain game.
But with the right coaching methods, periodisation and mapped out phases, you can feel at ease knowing that fat loss IS going to happen, when it is the right time.
If you want to stay leaner while you grow, that's totally okay too! Just know it means your muscle growth will be much slower.

The dark side to my fitness journey. 😢
At times I could barely walk.
I'd spend the first half of the day limping, and unable to lift a 10kg weight off the floor for my early clients.
3am I’d be woken by pain around my ribs and/or pelvis, feeling like I couldn't breathe.
Tbh one night I actually wanted to die.
For a year++ I suffered without answers.
I thought my career in the fitness industry was over..

Your kids are not your EXCUSE, they are your reason.

I’ve been up since 2am for a seminar, had a cracking headache and honestly CBF training
And yet here I am hitting PB’s in my session!
It’s much easier to push through when you have a clear vision of what you want.
And surely enough I’m seeing the b***y cm go up. Always worth it

My upper body grows easy, just as some girls' lower body grows easy.
Not many coaches talk about the severity of the role of genetics when it comes to muscle growth and fat-loss.
But the truth is, genetics play a HUUGE part sis.
And whilst I don't want to take any credit away from hard work of those who've had great results, I do want to shed light on the fact that for some people, losing fat or building muscle really is pushing sh up hill... with square wheels.
But done let genetic disposition, poor gut health, hormonal imbalances and a self-sabotage mindset rob you of achieving a strong, toned and lean physique. Wherever you are now, you can always be better.
Adherence to precise nutrition and training close to failure will guarantee you results in the long run, so put in the hard work and listen to your coach!

If you want to shred for a holiday but also grow a b***y, stop living in a calorie deficit. 🚫
For every month you spend in a deficit, you need to spend FOUR+ months in a surplus.
Eg:
2 month cut
8-10 month build.
If you can’t accept being a little fluffier for periods of time, you probably don’t want your growth goal enough.
My advice is to get a coach and plan an ENTIRE year out.
And if you can’t plan for a year, your lack of commitment to your goal will remain the reason you don’t see results.
Trust me, the hard work is always worth it 🩵💙🤍
I learnt very early in my career that when you invest big, you win big.
And when you hesitate, you miss out.
My first ‘large’ investment was $4k for 6 months.. which gave an ultimate career changing return, and a huge respect for reinvesting my profits.
Then it was $72k for 2 years.. which helped build my business to a team of 5 staff with over half a million in annual turnover.
In my almost 10 years working in the fitness industry I’ve had countless clients become successful personal trainers themselves, privately mentored already established personal trainers, and built to having multiple coaches across x3 Perth gyms.

Progress so much that photos from a few months back don’t do today’s growth justice.
