Dismantle
A Perth social enterprise that enables at-risk young people to reach their potential. Dismantling disadvantage, building new futures.
BikeRescue hit the red gravel road to Kununurra recently and had an absolute blast with this great bunch of kids! Safe to say they’re all pretty chuffed with their new wheels 🚲🚲✨✨
A big thank you to Connellan Airways Trust for getting us up there, and to Kennards Hire doTERRA Essential Oils Australia and Santanol for making this program possible 🙏🏼🙏🏼

We're beyond proud to announce that our tireless CEO, Pat Ryan, has been awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) 🎖 for his service to the community through social welfare organisations.
Under Pat’s leadership, Dismantle has transformed the lives of thousands of young people across WA through programs like BikeRescue and ReNew Property Maintenance. Pat’s passion for helping others doesn't stop there – he’s been a driving force in the social enterprise sector, championing initiatives that create real, lasting change for WA's most vulnerable.
(And while he might not love the spotlight, we think he deserves the recognition!)
Let's celebrate Pat by supporting what he’s dedicated his life to – creating better futures for disadvantaged youth. Right now, ReNew Property Maintenance is preparing to onboard 50 new youth employees! A small donation can go a long way in providing uniforms, boots, PPE, and more for these young workers.

Thank you to all the staff and students at Aranmore, we hope you enjoyed the program as much as we did! Dismantle is always delighted to provide the Bike Rescue program, offering a unique opportunity to enhance the skills and abilities of WA’s young people.

This term, the BikeRescue Program ran at Morley Senior High School funded by The Better Bayswater Grant from The City Of Bayswater. Morley SHS ran a successful BikeRescue program in 2022 and decided to extend the opportunity to another group of students in 2023.
This year, a group of Year 9 girls came together for the program and experienced significant growth, overcoming hurdles, both in their relationships and with the practical skills of building bikes. Thank you to Morley SHS, The City of Bayswater and all the participants for a hugely successful program!
Congratulations to our ReNew crew member, Jonty, who has recently completed courses in chainsaw operation and commercial spraying and is already pursuing his Cert 2 in Horticulture. Dismantle is immensely proud of how far Jonty has come since he first walked into ReNew Property Maintenance 3 years ago. Jonty worked hard to become independent, starting with one day a week, he now works full time and has secured stable housing with FOYER. A true team player, always early to shift, he goes beyond to help the team's needs.
Thanks for all the valuable work you do, Jonty! We can’t wait to see what’s next on your journey!
Thanks to Claremont-Nedlands Cricket Club and Australian Lions Foundation for supporting youth employment at ReNew Property Maintenance.
Their generous donation facilitated the acquisition of a trailer and litter vacuum, empowering ReNew to tackle new projects and enhance the skill set of our young talents.
If you would like to learn more about ReNew and how to support our young people, get in contact through our website in bio.
At Dismantle, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity and support to help them to charter their own course. Join us in advocating for vital changes in youth justice. Under WA's current laws, children as young as ten can face imprisonment, an issue that deeply matters to us.
On December 1, 2023, Australian Federal, State, and Territory Attorneys-General will unite to discuss plans addressing the minimum age of criminal responsibility.
Children don't belong in jail. They flourish when surrounded by family, community, and the comfort of their own space. There are alternative options that work.
How you can help:
1. Sign the petition at https://raisetheage.org.au/take-action
2. Email or call Attorney-General John Quigley and Federal Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus, urging them to .
3. Join the online action by posting or sharing a post.
