Our Swim School took home three national awards at the Australian Swim Schools Association’s 2024 Awards of Excellence this month 🎖🏊

We won the 2024 Inclusive Swimming award, while instructor Ryan Lee achieved a rare feat, winning both the regional and national Swim Teacher of the Year awards.

Thank you to all the instructors who do their very best to help our students build confidence in the water!

Start your Wear it Purple Day with a free workout at Beatty Park Leisure Centre 💜🏋🏾

The LGBTIQA+ community, friends, family, and allies are all welcome at our Wear it Purple Workout on Friday 30 August. The session will be a fun throwdown circuit-style workout suited to all fitness levels.

Wear it Purple is about creating empowering and inclusive environments for rainbow young people. We encourage you to wear purple to show your support.

I do my own program. I gym every time while my son does rehab in the pool with a physio. I haven’t tried the classes yet. I've spoken to a couple personal trainers from Beatty, Yvi helped me realised the weights are good to strengthen my body up. I was doing too much cardio, and nothing was changing. Now that I'm doing weights I'm noticing improvements in my body. There's always staff around in the gym. If you are ever stuck, they’re always there to help. They're always emptying the bins and doing the cleaning. Matt is awesome with the cleaning. I just love it you know. It saved my son, and it saved me. Helped me get rid of all that stress and anxiety. ​​​​​​​​

Our pools are all heated 🔥 but if you're still feeling the chill, we highly recommend long-sleeved togs or even a wetsuit! 😄

New Swim School class: Senior Social Swim! 🏊​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This class is dedicated to over 55's who want to swim with like-minded people in a social environment. Every Wednesday at 8am in the Indoor Pool, our Senior Social Swim Class will focus on developing swimming skills and improving endurance, all while socialising with new friends in a fun 30 minute class 😊

Each class is $14.50, billed every four weeks. Chat to anyone at our Swim School desk to find out more!
