Stewed plums and custard are delicious 😋 if you're like me, a plum lover! Sometimes plums are a little sour so I'll add a little rapadura sugar, and of course, I always add my meyer lemon juice, it's a lovely combination. Now it's time to portion and freeze 😃

There might be a shortage of cocoa which will change the taste of chocolate, so what will that mean for chocolate lovers 😋......

Don't get out the egg and bacon, these gorgeous white things are poisonous, and have a mind of their own in the eco system. They just love my backyard and are now appearing on the front verge. These are fairy ring fungi and are popping up more around the suburbs, they love the humidity. I truly hope people use commonsense, especially kids and don't pick them thinking they are the real deal.....mushrooms.

I was in the right mood Saturday evening to cook up a batch for the freezer. Lots of yummy ingredients to enjoy in every one 😋 and all I have to do is reheat them for lunch or tea when I'm busy and don't feel like prepping and cooking a big meal 🙏

These are concerning, back and leg, and the person I was about to massage had no idea how bad they were until I took these pics to show him.
No way was I going to touch them but the good news is, he is getting a skin check this week, although he did advise he had some freezing done about two months ago. I'm not satisfied they are healing, they look pretty angry to me!

I know some people will disagree and say there is minimal fitness in gardening, but let me tell you, the amount of garden I have, it's a workout alright, it allows me to use almost every muscle to keep it nice and well maintained, especially because I work from home, lol! 😂💪🦵

What would it be like for one day, no tv, not hearing the radio or anyone's gossip, no computer or phone but having a completely lazy day of nothing except a calm quiet mind. Sounds like good medicine! 🙏😇

I was a little upset that I had to cut back my gorgeous lemon tree because of a nasty "citrus mall wasp disease" that somehow found its way onto my tree. This disease is spreading to a lot of citrus trees at present. You'll be able to see in the picture (top left) what it looks like, incase you have a citrus tree to check. I'm confident my tree will bounce back as beautiful as before 🍋🙏💛

I'm having a bit of a weekend cooking spree whilst listening to my vinyls "loud". One goes with rice, the other with custard, ice-cream or on its own 😋 I hope this gives you some inspiration in the kitchen 🙏🙂

I'm aware the cost of living is high but there are smart ways of making things work in your favour, especially when it comes to healthy eating.
It may be time consuming making wholesome soups and stews but a big pot makes a lot of meals in one go. Does anyone take the time to make a decent pea/ham soup with extra veg or lamb/veg stew with added goodies? I could show people a few cost effective healthy tricks. Bring it on!

It amazes me what the reason is behind what makes a person choose to do what they do for a living. This person is interested in promoting and selling different kinds of mushrooms, some have unusual names that may be pronounced not as the name looks, lol 😂
