We need lots of volunteers at our home grounds to help Saturday run smoothly, and our boys need all of our support taking on Gladstone in Gladstone on Sunday. Get down where you can in your black & white! 💪🏼

Last night, AFL Capricornia held the League Presentation for Senior Awards and our club saw significant success across all of our teams. For the first time in a long time, we have all three senior teams in finals contention and it’s absolutely wonderful that the determination & commitment of some of our individuals was celebrated last night. We could not be prouder of our players, and our club. You have all helped us build an incredibly successful year, and we cannot wait to see all of the hard work pay off through the finals campaign.

Not only has Hayley Petersen recently reached a milestone of 50 games for Rockhampton Panthers AFC, but the accolades keep coming in! After recently returning from representing her age group in Capricornia Cobras, Hayley has just this week been invited to the Gold Coast Suns Academy to play in the Under 14's North Queensland team in September. So proud of your recent accomplishments Big Hayley, and the way you represent our club. 🐾

Old Boys’ Day is a time to recognise and celebrate our outstanding past players, and their contributions in shaping our club into what it is today. Celebrating 50+ years of our wonderful club, Panthers AFC invites all Old Boys to attend and continue the incredible momentum we had at our recent 50 Year Celebrations. The club house will be allocated for seating & bar staff to all Old Boys, to watch our Senior Women & Mens teams take on Brothers Roo's in the final fixture game of the season, followed by a barbecue and celebrations continuing into the evening. Get the word around for a great opportunity for old teammates to get together!

Our U11 Black team have a bye on the draw, however with this cold weather and sickness we might need all of our available U11s to make one team, like we did last time we had a bye. 🤧 Jump on the Cubs page to let our coordinators know if your child can attend this week!

Round Eleven has us at Stenlake Park, taking on the Glenmore Bulls in what will be a high stakes game for our Senior Teams. Our 13’s start the day at 8:30am, so we hope to see you there in your black and white, helping to bring our teams home in the run to the finals! 🐾

AFL Capricornia has decided to cancel Round 8, due to low player numbers and volunteers across all clubs.

We'll see you all at training on the 9th of July. Enjoy the holidays.

Our girls are going to Goldy 🥹

We are SO proud to share that both Amy Mill and Kiz Costelloe have been named in the annual NQ Senior Women’s team.

If you have ever watched a womens game, these selections will come as no surprise. Amy can break through a pack like nobody else and is an absolute force on the field; Nobody works harder than this woman. Kiz is an absolute jet and cannot be caught once she gets going. With skills to match her speed, she’s one to watch and we are SO proud that she’s been awarded this opportunity for the first time; we cannot think of anybody more deserving than these two.

The girls will make their way to Gold Coast this weekend to represent North Queensland, with their match scheduled to start at 4:15pm. We are all right behind you, girls.🤍🖤🤍

Round nine saw success across both our Youth Girls and our Senior Women, capping off a wonderful Ladies Day at Rockhampton Panthers AFC. Our Under 13’s rounded out our wins for the weekend, while we spend this week preparing to take on Brothers at Kele Park this Saturday. 🐾

Saturdays Senior Women’s game saw Addison Solly hit 50 games for Panthers AFC! At just 16 years old, Addy leads the club in terms of forward line pressure. Setting the standard for our Senior Women, Addy proves week in & week out that there is no one better at creating opportunities for her forwards.

Welcoming the Solly’s into our club has been a blessing, and it is an absolute pleasure to play alongside Addy and watch her excel, and continue to grow as a footy player each and every week. Congratulations, Addison! 🐾

ROUND 6 - HOME GAME
Whilst our U11 boys white team have a bye on the AFL Capricornia page, we've had a few kids out sick due to the change of weather. So all U11 boys are welcome to play this Friday night. If we end up with a large bench, we'll look at creating another game with play-up or do what Brothers did last week and play a short Panthers v Panthers game at the end.
