Our Reviver Thriver for June is awarded to Bill for his outstanding efforts in sessions in the clinic. Bill has also applied himself to the maximum at home where his wife Debbie assist Bill to complete many exercises and fun activities. The lovely couple have also recently completed the Step Up for Parkinson’s challenge over the month of May raising money for Parkinson’s NSW!

REVIVER THRIVER BARRY 🏅

Barry has exhibited exceptional physical results over the last month. He has applied himself to the maximum within the clinic and at home whereby he has felt his body improve wholistically. Barry’s achievements include improving lower limb strength, core strength and balance. With Barry's own personal journey ahead of him, he has always been diligent towards his exercise prescription to ensure he receives the best results.

We are also thrilled to welcome back Exercise Physiologist Elise! Elise will be in clinic on Thursdays and Fridays, if you’d like to book a session, please let reception know to arrange a time ☺️

World Parkinson’s Day! 🌷

Today, the world comes together to help raise awareness and better understand the difficulties faced by individuals living with Parkinson’s Disease.

In light of Parkinson’s Awareness Month, during April Isodynamics Rehab Clinic will be sharing information and resources with you, hosting a number of activities for all clients to get involved in, and providing some yummy light refreshments. We’ll also be going around the clinic and conducting quick interviews, asking our Parkinson’s clients to share their story. Your story or advice may assist or inspire someone else going through a similar journey.

The Reviver Thriver achievement for March is awarded to Lynne, our fighter who attends twice a week and gives her everything in sessions. Lynne’s perseverance in therapy is wonderful to witness. She lights up the clinic with her smile and tries her very best to keep a positive attitude. Her exercise physiologist, Jagan, has noted Lynne’s cardiovascular fitness has improved as she is now able to tolerate more exercise during her sessions. Lynne has also maintained her physical capacity and function, and improved her strength by using the reviver machines and practising her assisted sit to stands. We are so proud of Lynne’s hard work and determination during therapy 🏅🌻😁
