🌟 Physio spotlight - Julian 🌟

🙋🏻‍♂️ Julian here, it’s time we officially met! I’m a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and principal physio at PHYZFIT Physiotherapy.

I specialise in gym and football injuries, given my extensive background in bodybuilding and National Premier League football.

I graduated from The University of Sydney with a Masters degree in Physiotherapy.

I established PHYZFIT Physiotherapy at the end of 2020 and have had the pleasure of helping hundreds of patients since then!

I currently operate inside a home based clinic, but have my sights set on transitioning into a shop front in the near future.

I absolutely love my job, and wouldn’t change it for the world!

𝙉𝙚𝙘𝙠 𝙋𝙖𝙞𝙣: 𝘽𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 & 𝘼𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 💥

🔹 Meet Peter. Peter presented to the clinic with severe acute neck pain and headaches after sleeping in an awkward position on the couch overnight.

🔹 We call this presentation ‘Wry Neck’, where the muscles, joints and surrounding structures of the spine are overstretched resulting in severe muscle spasming and joint stiffness.

📸 𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 𝟏: You can see Peter had a severe range of motion restriction as well as muscle spasming & contracture as the shoulder is elevated.

𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 for Peter included:
✅ Sports massage / soft tissue release
✅ Trigger point therapy
✅ Cervical / Thoracic Joint Mobilisation
✅ Mobilisation with movement
✅ Dry needling / Electro Dry-Needling
✅ Thoracic joint manipulation (adjustments)
✅ Exercise Prescription
