Meet Hanan. She's a fourth year Bachelor of Early Childhood Education student who recently completed her placement with SECC.
She's one of the many local students we've welcomed to the team over the years.
Placements have often led to permanent positions in Aged Care, Community Work and Social Work. We are so grateful for the opportunity to host students. It's wonderful to see them learn and grow during their time with SECC.

Stress is one of the most common challenges students face. But, as any procrastinator will tell you, sometimes the adrenaline rush of stress can be harnessed for good. Our student tip?

“Think about how your studies are going to affect your future and then you’ll get stress-motivated!”
Just remember to take time to relax and recharge. And don’t leave everything till the last minute :)

21 March 2022 International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

TAFE NSW Sydney Region launched its Racism Not Welcome project on Monday 21 March to mark International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

Racism Not Welcome signs will go up on campuses across Sydney region as an action to tackle racism and reaffirm the importance of full respect for the right to safety in our shared learning spaces and workplace.
Anti-racism signage serves to not only set the standard of behaviour at TAFE NSW, but to educate and support students and staff to develop a deeper engagement with our responsibilities to build a culturally safe TAFE for all.

The elimination of racism is an essential part of TAFE NSW’s efforts to cultivate an equitable and inclusive working and learning environment.
