Mary and Victoria of Year 9 attended the InnovateNow program over the school holidays and following on from our previous post, they share their thoughts of the program below.

Throughout the first 5 days of the Winter holidays, we (Mary and Victoria of Year 9) visited Marist College North Shore to participate in the InnovateNow boot camp. We worked with innovation expert Mr Daniel McQuade each day, learning about how to start up our own business with depth in explaining product invention, business models, marketing, financials, customer engagement and brand development. Together, with 3 others from the camp, we worked to create our own solution to a problem which we pitched to a panel of judges in 10 minutes on the Friday. Our group placed 3rd overall. We had learned so much over the time spent and were extremely grateful for this opportunity.
Thanks,
Mary and Victoria Year 9
