We are looking forward to our first event for Term 3 - Cross Country, this Tuesday 23/7/2024 at Sydney International Equestrian Centre, Horsley Park.
We have listed below some HELPFUL HINTS for the day. Information as provided is correct at the time of posting however subject to modifications and changes.

👉 HELP – where can I get help and information at the Championship?
The best source of information on the day are the respective team managers together with event information on our website.

🌦 WEATHER – we are hoping for fine weather. If we have wet weather rest assured we are very familiar with these conditions. Competitors should arrive on the day ready to race.
Obviously come prepared for cold conditions, bring a change of clothes including shoes in case there is mud on the track. Label your clothes. In regard to jumpers in the marshalling area competitors will receive instructions from the track marshalls.

🚗 TRAVEL – expect and plan for traffic congestion especially earlier in the morning from all surrounding areas. If you plan for traffic and expect it and it doesn’t happen it will be a nice surprise.
Expect delays as you arrive and wait to park especially in the morning.

⏱ TIMETABLE – walk the course for the 2km event is 8:30am and 3km event 11am, weather permitting, this is optional only.

🎫 TICKETING - Competitors do not require a ticket. There is no limit to the amount of spectators who can attend. Entry fee has been included in the competitor levy, no entry fee is required to be paid on the day.

🏃‍♀️ CHECK IN AND SEATING: Each association will be allocated their own area see team managers on arrive for check in.

Time to focus on potential future Blues players.

Last week our Rugby League development camp was held for the squad of 34 players at St Gregory’s College Campbelltown.

Five days of skill development, visits from last years players and Wests Tigers five-eighth Lachlan Galvan (former PSSA State Representative ), ten pin bowling and pool recovery sessions were just a few highlights of the week.
The players developed wonderful relationships, resilience and respect for one another throughout the camp and have taken away memories that will never be replaced.
Our thanks to the players and teachers who gave up their school holidays to make this happen together with the parents, family and friends for their support.

Congratulations to Les Daley who was elevated to the status of Life Member of the NSWPSSA as part of the 2023 Annual General Meeting.
Les was unfortunately unable to attend the AGM. He received his award at the Open Rugby League Championships this week.
Les has made an outstanding contribution to school sport over an extended period of time especially in the sport of rugby league.
