We recently held our third mentoring outing for the 2024 Sister2sister program. Thanks to the awesome girls at Consent Labs we followed an important and animated discussion on healthy relationships with a fantastic afternoon rock climbing at Climb Fit Macquarie Park - a great (immediate!) way to understand the benefits of trust and partnership in any relationship!

We're really thankful to our amazing team of Big Sisters, program leaders and supporters who enable us to help adolescent girls build the skills to navigate life's complex challenges. 🥰

Over the course of the past 19 years, Sister2sister Foundation has delivered 18 trauma informed and evidence based Sister2sister Mentoring Programs across NSW and VIC, supporting 497 girls to become Little Sisters.

With National Volunteer Week kicking off from today it’s fitting that we held our first monthly outing for our 2024 Little Sisters over the weekend. Thanks to the team from Tilley & Wills for providing the function room at Four Hundred Bar & Kitchen for our workshop on identifying and managing stress responses (fight, flight, freeze) and to the wonderful people at Luna Park Sydney for providing tickets for unlimited rides AND the newest attractions, Dream Circus and Sonic Neon. Despite the weather everyone had a fantastic time!
Huge shout out to our tireless team of volunteers who provide the evidence-based program, our team leaders and of course our 2024 Big Sisters 👯‍♀️ 💖🫶
