It was a great performance by the talented Aboriginal musician Tjupurru. Our students were captivated by the expressions of a mix of traditional Aboriginal and modern music. It was an awesome way to learn and understand the history and cultures of the indigenous people of our country.
Thank you Tjupurru for sharing your talent, experiences, and heritage with our students and staff. It was a pleasure to have you.

⭐WEEK 5⭐
The Boys were greatly successful during the Schools Soccer Knockout Gala Day, going unbeaten across the 5 games they played with 4 wins and 1 draw. This placed them at the top of the ladder at the end of the day, progressing to the next stage of the knockout tournament.
The Girls also put in a valiant effort across the tournament, losing only 1 game throughout the day. This unfortunately placed them second on the ladder at the end of the day, meaning their journey for this competition comes to an end.
Congratulations to all of our athletes for playing exceptionally throughout the day and representing Prairiewood's SRL values through excellent respect and sportsmanship. ⚽️⚽️

Great news for Prairiewood. Yesterday we hosted a local final of the Plain Speaking Award and both our competitors, Johnny Stamiris (Year 12) and Ben Oraham (Year 10) progressed to the regional finals in two weeks time. Outstanding commitment by both students who spoke in an eloquent and convincing manner.
