Congratulations to the referees allocated to Junior Grand Final matches! We're extremely grateful for your hard-work and dedication throughout the season.

Those allocated as Referee Supervisors (listed in gold) are required to attend these games and provide support to our referees.

We are extremely saddened to hear last night of the passing of former TTRA member #266 Jim Stackpool.

Jim was a distinguished referee and a well respected figure in our sport and will be sorely missed by the many that knew him.

On behalf of the TTRA, we extend our sincere condolences to Jim's family, in particular to his wife Meladee who was also a member of the association.

Out of respect for Jim and the lasting impression that he left on our association, referees on today's Men's 1 and Women's 1 grand finals will wear black arm bands.

You might not agree with all their calls, but referees are so important to clubs; especially the absolute legends that volunteer their time so other people can enjoy a safe and fair game. Make sure you thank your referee this week!

While there are a number of congratulations and thanks that need to go to all of our referees that officiated this weekend's NQ Juniors, a very special congratulations must go to one particular young referee - Mikayla Atkinson!

Mikayla was awarded her Level 3 upgrade after her performance on the weekend, and it comes off the back of 12 months of hard work, determination, and dedication.
