A big thank you for the invitation to attend a Devonshire tea on Saturday 24th September at St James Shrine, which is a vibrant fellowship of women and men that encourages its members to be active in their community. As part of their work in promoting tolerance and respect, St James Shrine organised a Devonshire Tea in partnership with the QCWA Townsville Branch and with the support of the Masonic District Grand Lodge of North Queensland. We would like to thank everyone for their sincere condolences of my dear grandmothers recent passing. She will be missed, so much by all of us, as will her amazing outlook on love, life and everything in-between! We were so blessed to have her in our lives and are humbled by the idea that she now joins our beautiful grandfather, Alister in heaven, after only 3 years apart. I miss them both so much, and words cannot express how grateful I am for having them as such a big part of my, and by siblings lives. We love you so much Grandma and Papa!
As many of you know, Grandma will be watching down on us, hoping we plan the funeral of the century for her, with so much love, care, and really - just everyone being at the same place at the same time (and only wishing she could attend to be with everyone)! And with that, we would love to invite all Grandma’s dearest friends and family, she treasured greatly, to attend the Celebration of SHIRLEY MARGARET JANE COLLINGS life!
Shirley Margaret Jane Collings (Nee’ McIntosh) was a much loved Mother and mother-in-law of Cheryl and Raymond Boneham, and Peter and Alicia Collings. Cherished Grandmother of Samantha, Rachael, Michael, Taylor, Lili, Jet, Elizabeth, and Hannah. Adored Great Grandmother of Harvey.
All friends and family are respectfully invited to attend Shirley’s CELEBRATION OF LIFE, which will take place on Tuesday, the 19th of October, 3:30pm. Ryan Community Centre, Morindo Drive, Kirwan. Followed by light refreshments at Toms Tavern. (186 Nathan St, Aitkenvale QLD 4814).
Live streaming of the service will be available via: https://youtu.be/Lx520wtlbx8
We ask everyone to wear red to the service. Grandma’s favourite colour, as bright and happy as she was!
Again we would like to thank everyone, and look forward to seeing everyone next Tuesday.
