🌟How long have you been a part of the WSAC team?
I joined the WSAC team when I moved to Wangaratta two years ago.

🌟What’s your favourite thing about WSAC?
I love the amazing members who are always so friendly and are always up for a chat! I also love the supportive team environment filled with incredible group fitness instructors who encourage and motivate each other!

🌟What is your role at WSAC?
Group fitness instructor teaching Body Pump, Body Balance, Cycle & Reformer Pilates classes!

🌟What do you do with your time away from WSAC?
I work as a family services practitioner, spend time with my family and friends, travel and run with my dog!

🧘‍♀️🎉Exciting news - your Reformer studio is getting a makeover!

We are creating a space that will be more calming and welcoming for you!

This means that from 5:30pm Tuesday 30 April all Reformer Pilates classes will be held in the Functional Fitness room located in the gym. We will keep you informed on the progress of your new space.

🌟How long have you been a part of the team at WSAC?
I’ve been at WSAC for 5 years now! I started in the café in 2019 and have worked as a Lifeguard, Duty Manager, Swim Teacher and Customer Experience Officer.

🌟What’s your role at WSAC?
I’m the Operations Team Leader. I look after our lifeguards, and everything Plant Room, Facilities & Safety with our Operations Coordinator, Tim!

🌟What’s your favourite thing about WSAC?
I absolutely love the people here, it’s so much fun coming into work everyday with the team we have. Everyday looks different and new things pop up depending on the day. I love that our members feel like a community – always seeing a familiar face wherever you are in the centre. WSAC has also always provided me with amazing opportunities.

🌟What do you do with your time away from WSAC?
I’m a people person, so I’m usually with my friends if I’m not at work! I also love running, playing netball, and doing a reformer class here when I have the time.

💙What’s your role at WSAC?
I’m a Duty Manager, Customer Experience Officer, Lifeguard, and an Active Kids instructor. I’ve been here for about 2 and a half years now.

🩵What do you love about working at WSAC?
I love coming to work and interacting with all our different members and getting to know them, as well as being a part of a super fun team of people!

💙What do you do with your time away from WSAC?
Outside of work I spend a lot of time training for and playing cricket. I’m also currently studying to complete a certificate 3 and 4 in fitness!

Yesterday morning, Harry Miller was awarded the 2023 Karen Chetcuti award for his significant contributions to the community and organisation!

“Harry has demonstrated his excellence through a successful career journey. Beginning as a cafe attendant, he advanced to roles as a lifeguard and Customer Experience Officer, then applied to join the Duty Manager team. Harrys enthusiasm for his work is apparent to all, and he has forged life long friendships at the centre.”
