Parking Update 🚗

Parking at the Croatian Church will NOT be available this Saturday due to the annual pilgrimage for the feast day of Mary.

Expect lots of cars and buses as parishioners from near and far join the celebrations. Please plan accordingly and find alternate parking arrangements for the day.

Packing lunchboxes for school can be challenging, especially when trying to make it nutritious and relatively quick and easy. Above are some suggestions to consider for the next recess or lunch.

While this may seem extensive, the most important aspect is to not necessarily implement all these suggestions but rather aim for a balance, whereby the majority of the lunchbox contains healthy and nutritious food while also allowing for other foods that whilst may not be the most nutritious can be enjoyed in moderation.

Adding vegetables to our diet is always difficult, and sometimes feels like a chore more than anything. However, as we know vegetables are essential to our diets and have wide-ranging benefits for our overall health and disease prevention. That being said, it is still estimated that only 7% of adults and 5% of children meet the recommended daily serves of vegetables

Whilst this takes time to build into eating patterns, the above are just some creative ways to increase vegetable intake throughout the day
