I am NUTS about nuts 😂! 🌰🌰🌰
They are one of the best foods with a lot of nutritional value! I also love all the variations of nuts, such as nut butter 🧈
Here are some tips on how to choose the right one:
🥜Check the label, if you see palm oil, added sugar or a big ingredient list, skip it!
🌰If you do not see the oily layer on top of the jar, it means that vegetable oils were added,so just do not buy it.
🌰”Natural” is good, but choose “organic”.
The problem with peanuts, for example is that they are technically not a nut, but legume, which grows in the ground.
Soil can be heavily sprayed with pesticides, so a little % will end up in your peanut butter…
The label “organic” means that no other ingredients or additives are permitted in the product. So it is safe.
🥜Raw nuts butter is much better than roasted one, after processing peanuts on the high temperature, the biggest part of nutrients disappear.
By the way, peanut butter is also rich with protein, so if I need a quick snack or filling breakfast, I just make a toast with organic raw peanut butter and banana 🍌

Why should you eat high protein breakfast
🍳
📌My experience has shown me that when my clients have large portions for dinner, or suffer sugar cravings 🎂🧁🍬in the afternoon or right after dinner, they still feel the need to chew on anything. In these situations, 90% of the time, they either skip breakfast or eat a breakfast that is highly processed, too sweet and low in nutritious content.
Because of this, whenever I begin working with a customer one-on-one, I always suggest that they change their breakfast-related habits.🫖
Multiple studies have shown that
☕️high-protein breakfast increases satiety, (feeling of fullness) which reduces the afternoon craving for sugary or highly processed foods like chips or sweets.
🍵Grater fulness due to a nutritious and protein rich breakfast led to better food choices and the replacement of unhealthy evening snacking with nutrient-rich food..
🍴Last but not least, if you skip breakfast because you practice intermittent fasting and overeat in the evening, you might want to think about including a tiny portion of a protein-rich meal in the morning to start with.

It has been one year… 😨😨😨😨
Yes, my year has started not from the first of January but from the start of the war in Ukraine.
This year has been extremely stressful and painful in so many ways. 🫠🫠🫠
How to survive in a very stressful period? (my vision)
-sleep whenever you can. Even if the night's rest was bad, try to catch up in the afternoon.
-cold showers are really way to go, if you need some energy and to reset your thoughts. Also screaming from the cold can release some stress😀
- breathing exercises by Wim Hof, makes you feel instantly better, helps to ground yourself, gives energy.
- mindfulness, prayer, meditation, whatever you believe in, might help you to relax and to get back to yourself.🧘🧎♂️
- less caffeine if possible;☕️
- I eat when I am stressed, and so do a lot of people. Just make sure that 75% of your meals are balanced and include some vegetables, protein, nuts and complex carbs (full grain bread or pasta, wild rice, quinoa, amaranth) .
- Do not forget about a nutritious breakfast.
These things combined, will help you to reduce your cravings for sugar in the afternoon.🛑✋
- any physical activity will do: calling and walking in the meanwhile, taking stairs, walking after your dinner, dansing, yoga, stretching etc.💃
- if you can't control your emotions, search for help, there are some good psychologists out there, give it a shot.
And don’t forget, everything in life is temporary…♥️
More doesn’t mean better…Or??🔝
We tend to judge a restaurant by the atmosphere, professional approach of the stuff, prices but the most important for many people is… the PORTIONS size…🐷🥓🥘
One study has found that fast-food restaurants' portion sizes more than doubled (226%) from 1986–2016.🫣
Does it mean we are more physically active and need more food? I doubt it…
But our eyes are bigger than our stomach👀
Its ok when that the portions are bigger, however much more important is the quality of food on your plate…🥬
