As Our Nation begins to celebrate its Independence, with today being "National Day of Prayer and Reflection," At the Bahamas Heart Centre located in The Medical Pavilion Bahamas, we pause and give God ALL The Praise for celebrating our 34th Anniversary of Service Excellence in The Bahamas.

July 1st, 2024, marks the 34th anniversary of Dr. Conville S. Brown returning home to The Bahamas and opening The Bahamas Heart Centre (BHC) where he created and implemented his "Partnered Care Model." Partnered Care ensures accessibility to quality medical treatment to ALL in The Bahamas and the Caribbean. It is a tripartite payment solution system that allows all the centres of The Medical Pavilion Bahamas to partner with regional governments to cover the adjusted cost of advanced care for its citizens who are not covered by private insurance and without any significant capital investment by said government.

April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month

Can I Prevent Testicular Cancer?

Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent TC, but a self-examination allows one to identify TC in its earliest stage. The Testicular Cancer Society (TCS) recommends a monthly testicular self-examination to identify any changes in the testicles. Please note the self-check flyer.
