Symptoms of colon cancer appear later in the disease, which may be too advanced to treat. These symptoms include:
• Change in bowel movement
• Blood in the stool
• Persistent abdominal discomfort like cramps, gas, or pain
• Unexplained weight loss
Join us in honoring Black History Month by celebrating one of the leaders of colon cancer screening: Dr. Kenneth Forde.
Dr. Forde was an early visionary in colon cancer screening and awareness, and his work with Katie Couric in 2000's brought colon cancer screening to the spotlight.
