The last few weeks of the year in our SEED program were full of fun activities to beat the heat! From Watermelon Wednesdays and Freezie Fridays to the Slip N Slide and Sprinkler water extravaganza...we wish all of our Beacon Hill families a wonderful and relaxing summer.

A huge shoutout to DJ Dale for doing an amazing job at our graduation last Friday! Your music set the perfect tone and kept the energy high for our 6th grade grads! Thanks for making our celebration unforgettable!

Thank you to all who participated in the used book sale! 🐘🙉!Grade three made $624.00 to help support the WWF - in particular the elephants and gorillas! Thank you for all of your support!

Today we celebrated our staff with a year end lunch! Thank you to Home and School’s Staff Appreciation Committee for organizing this! We hope our staff enjoyed it!

The Grade 5 students had a blast on their 'Hike and Bike' field trip. They started off the day with a hike up 'Sanctuaire Notre-Dame-de Lourdes, followed by lunch and a 17km bike ride through the Soulanges Canal. Way to go grade 5!

Last week some of our library volunteers gathered to celebrate and thank Bessie Michael, who has gone above and beyond her volunteer call of duty as library coordinator. Her son is graduating this year, so she will be missed by all. We wish her well in her future endeavours!

Last week's end of year picnic was a ton of fun! The games were a huge hit (especially the human hamster balls), and the weather was perfect for our Wild Willy's ice cream truck. They served up close to 300 portions, what a great turn out.
Home and School thanks the parent volunteers who helped supervise the games. Events like this one are only possible with the helping hands of our volunteers!

The May 31st, It's A Pawty! PED day was so much fun! Our kids were able to interact with 2 dogs, a rabbit, a chinchilla, guinea pigs and a miniature pig! Followed by yummy cotton candy and a visit by Rosie's Animal Rescue where our staff presented a cheque for $746 raised from the bracelet sale.

The sun is out, and we're excited to welcome you to our end of year picnic TODAY! See you at 5pm! Don't forget your picnic food, chairs, and $ for the Wild Willy's ice cream.

Urgent call for help: Home and School is still looking for a few volunteers to help supervise the carnival games. Everblast requires a certain number of parent volunteers, along with their animators, to ensure the safety of the children. There are 2 shifts: 5-6:15 or 6:15-7:30. Grab a friend and do it together! Beacon Hill welcomed All Access Life today. Their presentation was truly inspirational. The Grade 5 students presented their donation of $500.00 from their Pay it Forward initiative ❤️.

Last Friday was our last monthly treat trolley for the school year!

Thanks to all the bakers for the delicious treats and thoughtful goodies. It has been a wonderful Friday pick me up for our Beacon Hill Staff!
