JA recognises that not all students have access to the same resources and deal with a variety of environmental factors. This can limit accessibility for underserved groups of youth which, in the end, limits Nova Scotia’s economy. From missed opportunities, ideas and products JA Nova Scotia is looking to break down the barriers that exist to accessing the JA Company Program.

Thanks to funding provided by McCall MacBain Foundation JA Nova Scotia has adapted the delivery of our after-school JA Company Program to ensure youth from diverse backgrounds can share their ideas, products, services, skills and talent in a safe, accessible, welcoming and supportive space.
