Hey All - This is tonight! Get out and share your concerns about what's happening in our community.
If you don't want all the focus put on other communities, then get out and tell HRM what Bedford needs tonight.
Hey All, With Hurricane Lee on the way, now is the time to fill your freezer with bottles of water.
During a power outage. the ice in them will keep your fridge and freezer safe for days longer than without them. 🦁 🦁 🦁
When selecting school supplies for your children, or maybe reminiscing about how cute your now adult children were, when they were young, please consider the many families struggling to make ends meet.
The Pantries have had requests for school supplies. Providing supplies can be impossible on budgets that can't provide enough food during the rest of the year.
Snacks and supplies for all ages are welcome. We are especially looking for supplies for Jr and High school. Like:
binders looseleaf
graph paper pens/pencils
protractor kits
Thank you
There's still time to save Sandy Lake and the Sackville River from development, but to do so, we need your help!
This unique and crucial ecosystem, containing one of the last stands of old growth forest in the HRM, has been designated for fast-tracked development.
Lake front property in a critical biodiversity hot spot won't solve the housing crisis.
Visit bit.ly/SandyLakeFB to send a message to decision makers urging them to spare the Sandy Lake/Sackville River area.
