Earlier this month Food4Kids Halton was invited to a Scotiabank bowling night🎳. There were over 150 Scotiabank employees, from 18 branches across Halton in attendance along with our Milton coordinator, Stacey.

They presented Food4Kids with a $1,500 cheque! The funds were collected by branch employees and during the 50/50 draw that night. Thank you for your support🫶

Our Summer Program begins in a few weeks! During the break from classes, we will be mailing out monthly grocery gift cards to all our families! We continue to serve over 1,100 children in Halton Region, and we are so thankful that we can support them through the summer months!

We are thrilled to have received an enormous food drive from our new partner Best Buy Canada -Burlington, along with some much needed laptops!💻 This new partnership will go a long way to ensure ‘No Child Goes Hungry in Halton’. We are so grateful🫶

Thank you to Lumen Christi Catholic Elementary School, in Milton for participating in the F4K Great Canned Meat Roundup 2024! The total amount of food donated that we are able to use is $317.35! Great Job👏

Food4Kids Halton has now been added to their charities of choice and now offer Pre-Packed food bags at each of their cash aisles. For $10.00 customers can buy a customized bag of products specific to the F4K’s menu including: canned pasta, soup, beans, tuna and mac & cheese.

The first pick up totalled $440.60 worth of food, and we were also presented with $871.00 worth of Fresh Co. grocery gift cards!! We are so grateful!🫶

Wednesday we are launching our new initiative called "Change for Charity"

We will take any loose change you have on you and donate it to the two charities of choice that we support.

We are over the moon to announce the result raised from this year’s Oakville Smile Cookie campaign in support of Food4Kids Halton – a whopping $89,169!!! Thank you to all the Oakville Tim Hortons owners and staff for their tireless efforts in making Smile Cookie a great success👌. A massive shout out to our amazing volunteers who decorated thousands and thousands of smile cookies, and most importantly to YOU, our incredible Food4Kids community, Oakville residents, and business owners who purchased cookies and supported our kids. Together, we ensure that no child goes hungry in Halton. We simply cannot thank you enough!

We are proud to announce Jennifer Sully-Ferraro as Food4Kids Halton’s new Executive Director, effective June 10th!

Jennifer brings to the role over 15 years of leadership experience in the non-profit sector, focused on addressing poverty and homelessness. She has been instrumental in building partnerships across community groups, governmental agencies, and private sector entities to foster innovative solutions and impactful programs.

Jennifer has been the Senior Director of Programs and Client Care ehm (Evangel Hall Mission) for the past eight years. Before that, she was the Assistant Director of The Open Door. Jennifer is a graduate of McMaster University and holds an MA in Public Policy and Administration from Toronto Metropolitan University.
