🌟 Sharing Collective Joy with RUMI’s Sufi Poetry & Iranian Dance 🌟

In Burlington, our 100 Seeds of Joy team hosted a free meditation program featuring Sufi poetry, live flute music, and Iranian dance. This event, part of our tradition of cultural and wellness events in the Halton region, drew Iranian seekers from Hamilton and beyond. They enjoyed their first experience with Sahaja Yoga Meditation and shared delicious traditional dishes at our multi-cultural potluck.

Our volunteer instructors, special guests at the Adam’s Day SUFI Azeemi event, led a profound meditation intertwined with Sufi poetry and live music. We concluded with learning dances from Iran and Azerbaijan, making it a truly beautiful and enriching experience.

🌿 Our Children's Meditation Workshop during March break sparks creativity! 🎨 Organised by 100 Seeds of Joy, we've been offering monthly 'Cool Kids and Parents – Meditation and Creativity' sessions for 18 years in Burlington and Oakville. In our recent program at the Burlington Public Library, families in Halton came together for a unique blend of meditation and creativity, with around 30 participants immersing in a guided meditation led by aunty Kathleen. 🎨 Kids and adults tapped into their inner peace and imagination, creating clay sculptures of serene meditation spaces and loving family scenes. 🧘‍♀️💖 It was heartwarming to not only see everyone truly enjoying themselves but also to witness how meditation themes carried into our creative activities. 🙏

Highlight moments:

1. A child sculpted a meditation scene from clay.
2. A mom crafted her own 'meditation space' from clay.
3. Another mother made a clay family, reflecting our meditation's theme of loving collectivity. 💖
