The Burlington Amateur Softball Association
We offer house league teams for girls and boys ages 4-10, girls 11-22 and an adult co-ed league.
What a great turn out we had at the Burlington Santa Claus parade. Thank you to all the families for joining us today!
Good afternoon BASA.
FOR ANYONE THAT HAS SIGNED UP TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PARADE OR IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE.
We are entry number 25.
We will meet along Prospect St. by 12:30 pm Sunday the 3rd at the number 25 sign.
Parents are encouraged to walk with their kids.
Everyone is asked to wear their Bees uniform or spirit wear. BMFL UNIFORMS are great too, along with festive things like a Santa or elf hat, anything festive. Got a softball backpack that shows your gear, bring it.
We can do whatever we want during the parade. If you want to throw a ball that’s fine but you can not miss:)
There will be a TV crew there.
The city has informed us that due to the long walk kids should be 12 and older.
Parents are responsible for younger children in case they have to use the washrooms or get tired along the parade route.
Everyone must sign in at the beginning of the parade as well as sign out at the end of the parade. We don’t want to be looking for people or kids when they have gone home.
Large vehicles needed.
We are looking for a bunch of people with vans or large suvs to bring people back to the mall after the parade. We will park these vehicles at Central high school area before the parade (12pm) so when we finish the route we will have a ride back.
If you have a vehicle and willing to help with this please email - Melissa at - [email protected]
If you have any questions feel free to email Steve at [email protected]
See you then.
Steve Wilson
BASA President
