Brewed with New Zealand hop varieties Nelson Sauvin & Riwaka, tag teammed with stalwarts Citra & Mosaic. ‘New Z’ has gentle ripe berry notes, hints of hot tar, with subtle citrus. With a pleasant finish ‘New Z’ hits the spot on these hot summer days.

A BRAND NEW West Coast Style IPA is on tap and canned for this beautiful summer weekend.

Alto IPA is hopped generously in the kettle giving a solid bitterness and fermented to a pleasantly dry finish.

Brewed with Idaho 7, Citra, Riwaka and Amarillo Alto has notes of candied citrus, summer time diesel and ripe tropical fruits.

We have a new tasty IPA on tap and in cans for this May Long Weekend.

A tasty new ale is available in cans and on draught at Cornwalls finest established, Ye Aulde VG.

Brown Ale is a super sessionable pint. We kept the brown super light in colour but the toasty character from an ample use of Brown Malt shines through.

Aussie Haze IPA - 6%

Fun new at VG this weekend, Aussie Haze teams up Australian Ella and Topaz hops, with a dash of Citra for good measure (and to meet the legal requirement that Citra has to go into all hazy IPAs.)

The Topaz is hella dank and resinous, giving this beer good bitterness and mouthfeel.

Continuing in the Aussie theme, member of the VG community are starting PEIs first Aussie Rules Football team in Cornwall! Stop by Terry Fox Complex Sunday at 2 for an intro session, and post match pints at VG!

A lovely roasty stout with a pleasant sweetness from lactose.

SABRO PALE ALE - 5.1%

A VG favourite is on tap and back in cans for the impending long weekend!

Sabro Pale Ale leans solely on Sabro hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. This fun hop variety has notes of melon, lime zest and sweet coconut with a pleasant piney undertone.

Pairs well with Mr. Munchy and Mr. Solid, but definitely not Peeps because they are trash!

Grab cans ASAP as this beer never lasts long!

This Weekend at VG, Incredibly Irish Trivia!

This years celebration of St. Patrick’s Day we are doing Irish trivia, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon to allow for maximum craic.

Come out Saturday or Sunday for some laughs, Irish themed questions and a couple of pints!

A new IPA is on tap and in cans with weekend at VG! UNDEAD IPA is a throwback to IPA of years past. Chewy malt body, firm bitterness from large additions of Citra throughout the boil then later in the dry hop.

Notes of marmalade, candied citrus and ripe apricots backed by a solid bitter finish!
