St. Peter's Spaghetti Supper was a huge success. This was due to the many volunteers, in particular the Knights of Columbus Council 755 who donated the dinner to the parish as a fund-raiser and to the ladies of St. Peter's CWL who worked tirelessly to keep the evening rolling smoothly. An enjoyable time was had by all who attended.
Enjoy the smiling faces of our volunteers.
St. Peter's Parish is having a spaghetti fundraiser supper on Sunday, September 24.
There are two seatings, 4-to 6 pm and 6-8 pm. The cost is a free-will offering.
The Knights of Columbus on Amelia Street has graciously agreed to host and cook the dinner. The hall which is downstairs can accommodate 150 people at a time. Please call the office at 613-938-3100 to reserve; otherwise, guests will wait for an opening.
The 4 to 6 pm is almost full but the 6 to 8 pm has ample room.
Looking forward to greeting you.
God bless.
Just a gentle reminder the tomorrow morning St. Peter's will have adoration of the Blessed Sacrament before the 9 o'clock Mass beginning at 8 o'clock.
This is an opportunity to spend quiet time with the Lord.
God bless.

Fiftth Sunday in Lent
A Lenten invitation: each Friday during Lent we will pray the Stations of the Cross beginning at 8:15 am prior to the 9:00am Mass. Please join us.
Lenten Guidelines for the Archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall: Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of fast and abstinence. Fridays are days of abstinence. Fasting binds all persons from 18 to 59 unless in poor health. Abstinence from meat binds all persons 14 and older unless prevented by poor health. Catholics may substitute special acts of charity or piety on the Fridays of Lent.
The Archbishop mandates this observance for the spiritual well-being of the faithful.
