When a child lacks phonological awareness skills, it becomes challenging for them to isolate and blend sounds, which are crucial for reading and spelling development.

My youngest child had all the early signs, and when she was entering grade 1 was still struggling with to identify letters and with her letter-sound associations. Students who use Neuralign read an average of 50% more words per minute after 10 weeks.

Carleton University announced in a ground-breaking report that dyslexic students who use the Neuralign program improve their reading by an average of 50% more words in 10 weeks.

In their report, Centre for Applied Cognitive Research Director Dr. Jo-Anne LeFevre, PhD., Dr. Heather Douglas, PhD., and Charlene Song of the Department of Psychology at Carleton University analyzed several aspects of reading improvement for users of the program, reading fluency measure (i.e., number of words read per minute), and a comparison of assessed reading performance before and after the intervention.

"Users showed significant improvement in reading fluency and in assessed reading performance," the study concludes, with a "95 percent confidence" in their findings.
