Our mission is to focus on how you feel, not what you look like - which is the opposite of a lot of fitness spaces that exist with a historical narrative on how we experience exercise.
Our intention is to show you how you are worthy exactly as you are, not based on your looks or how productive you are (externality)
Our goal is to support you in intentional living. This stems from mindfulness, consciousness, and curiosity.
We intend to operate our business with a social lens - to be an example that we can support our community so other businesses can do the same.
Most importantly, we hope to hold space so that you can be present with yourself fully, in community.

💫The Practice: A cathartic mind & body workout. Music driven, with an emphasis placed on bodyweight movements that support your heart health, your strength, and your resilience. Build physical strength and emotional intelligence. Energy scale 5/5
💫The Flow: A build of functional yoga movements, an emphasis on linking breath, moving rhythmically and building mobility and strength. Energy scale 4/5.
💫The Presence: A class focused on holding active yoga poses to explore discomfort and build strength, wjile using teh breath to anchor you to the present moment. Energy scale 3/5.
💫 The Restore: Slow, long suppored holds of yoga poses to increase felxibility and to encourage full body & mind recovery. Unstick what is stuck. Energy scale 1/5.
💫The Introduction: reconnect the body and mind through gentle and subtle somatic movement. This class will guide you through breath and movement that encourage mobility, strength, and flexibility to encourage longevity. Energy scale 2/5.

Meet your 2024 MTT Facilitators ✨
Two very familiar faces around the studio, Amy & Laura co-founded The Practice in 2019 with the goal of creating a place for community; providing opportunities for movement & stillness for everyone. This passion has since allowed them to share their learnings with other individuals in their beloved Movement Teacher Training program.
✨Meet Amy Tattrie (.amy). Amy’s passion for supporting honouring one’s true needs supports our next cohort in so many ways. Through helping people discover their own power through movement and mindfulness, Amy supports the reconnection to your own personal brand of magic. Amy’s background of Yoga Teacher Training and Jungian Psychology allows for the support of our many modules.
✨Meet Laura Kieley (). Laura’s passion for learning, for greater understanding of who we are, and for opening up lenses of curiosity through movement and stillness allow for Laura to support wholly our many modules. Through Laura’s studies in yoga, business, positive psychology, somatics will support the thriving of our next cohort through their training.
