🌟 Struggling with teeth grinding and sleep apnea? 😴
The constant grind affecting your quality of life, business, and parenting? 🦷
You struggle to keep the CPAP on so the teeth-grinding persists, leaving you stressed and fatigued.
Running a business and raising kids is no easy feat, and it's taking a toll on your well-being.
Your partner notices the loud grinding, your mornings start with a sore jaw and a pounding headache. Medications provide no relief.
The stress spills over, affecting your patience with the kids and hindering your focus on business tasks.
But guess what?
There's hope!
You don't have to keep grinding away your nights and your life.
Take control and wake up feeling great again!
Be the role model your kids deserve, and propel your business forward without the interference of sleep-related issues.
If this resonates with you and you're ready to break free from the nightly grind, DM me "Grind" to start your journey towards better sleep and a more vibrant life.
You don't have to be told you stop breathing to have sleep apnea.
I know it sounds wild because apnea is literally about stopping your breath. But hear me out for a second.
You can actually wake up before you have a full apnea episode.
These mini-arousals throughout the night might go unnoticed, but they can add up and lead to insomnia.
So, you might be struggling more with insomnia than with anyone telling you that you stop breathing in your sleep.
Do you have insomnia?
Are you taking melatonin to help with your sleep apnea because you're still not sleeping well, even with the CPAP?
You might feel like you're falling asleep quicker, but you're still waking up during the night, right? Tossing and turning, unable to get comfortable.
Here’s the thing: melatonin can help you fall asleep faster, but it doesn’t keep you asleep.
With sleep apnea, if it’s not properly treated, your body can stay stuck in that fight-or-flight mode—like you're constantly ready to run away from danger. This makes it hard for you to relax and produce melatonin naturally.
Melatonin follows a 24-hour cycle, and this cycle shifts depending on the time of year, season, and your age.
'When you take melatonin supplements, you can disrupt this natural rhythm. Plus, it’s a fine line when it comes to how much you actually need.
The dosage in supplements isn’t always accurate, and if you take too much, it can mess with your production of testosterone, s***m, and even affect your ovaries.
There are three big reasons you might want to reconsider taking melatonin:
It can interfere with the production of testosterone, s***m, and ovaries.
You might be getting more than you realize since supplement labels aren’t always accurate.
If you’re taking it to stay asleep through the night, it might not be the best solution.
But don’t worry, there are natural ways to boost your melatonin levels:
Dim the lights as evening sets in, just like the sun does.
Turn off electronics at least an hour before bed to avoid that blue light that keeps your brain awake.
Get outside first thing in the morning—the natural light helps reset your internal clock.
Give these tips a try, and if you think someone else might benefit from this, share it with them.
🛏️ What Does Sleep Apnea Have to Do With High Blood Pressure? 🩺
When you have sleep apnea, you’re not getting the quality sleep your body needs.
This can keep you stuck in "fight or flight" mode, the state your body enters when facing danger—like running from a lion.
Staying in this mode raises your heart rate, breathing rate, and blood pressure, preventing your cardiovascular system from relaxing at night.
Not only that, but poor breathing during sleep means you miss out on nitric oxide, a key molecule that helps dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure.
If you or someone you know has high blood pressure and has never had a sleep study, it might be time to consider whether sleep quality is playing a role.

🌙 Carole's Journey to Better Sleep 🌙
When Carole started the program, she was barely getting any sleep—some nights only 0-3 hours.
Stress had always been a huge challenge for her, making it hard to fall asleep or stay asleep. She'd often wake up feeling anxious, struggling to get back to rest, and spending her days in a daze. 😓
But things have changed!
Now, Carole is sleeping through the night and only waking up briefly.
She feels calm instead of anxious, and the daze has lifted.
Thanks to the program, she's learned to manage her stress better, leading to an 80% improvement in her symptoms! She consistently gets 5-6 hours of solid sleep every night. 🌟
Carole's story is proof that with the right support, it's possible to regain control over stress and sleep.
Have you ever struggled with stress or sleep? Share your story below.
I think most people think it is and usually the person that snores is in most jokes.
I used to think it was funny too!
Until I realized what it actually means.
It means that your airways are compromised which can mean less oxygen to your brain!
This can explain why you may wake up on edge, or tired or moody

Ever feel so exhausted after work that it’s all you can do to crash on the couch?
I know you probably do if you have sleep apnea or another form of sleep disorder breathing.
I did. Especially after having my second child.
I felt like my cup could never be full.
Day by day, I felt my cup was getting a little more empty.
You feel that you keep giving to others and then you go to sleep hoping to have a good night sleep to only have fragmented sleep as you were tossing and turning most the night.
It wasn’t always like this. You used to sleep so well and have so much energy. You felt like the energizer bunny where you can pour your energy into your spouse, have fun with the kids, take care of your health and still have energy at the end of the day. You don't know when that started changing, but you don’t feel like yourself now.
You know you want to feel good again. You want your “you” time back. You want to show up for your family. You want to like who you see in the mirror.
To do that, you need to be refilling your cup daily. Otherwise you will have an empty cup. You will get frustrated that you’re letting them and yourself down.
But everything changes once you start refilling your cup and that happens when you find that refreshing sleep. It invigorates you. Transforms you into the version you knew was there all along.
It changed my life and my family's life. And that's why I'm on a mission to help you do the same.
MP was struggling to fall asleep and stay asleep, and it began to affect her entire life.
Once full of energy, she now felt drained and lacked the motivation to even go to the gym.
Simple tasks became difficult as she found it hard to concentrate and remember things.
This exhaustion left her feeling miserable and down, making it tough to find happiness in her day-to-day life.
But now, she now has more energy throughout the day, thinks more clearly, and her mood has improved.
As MP shares, “It has been about two months now and i can say that my quality of sleep has improved. With Tierney’s coaching, her dedication, and support, I am sleeping longer and better. I am very thankful to have found Tierney, and I’m also grateful for many more good nights of sleep because of her help.”

Check out this new pillow that will help you sleep better
LUTE Adjustable Shredded Memory Foam
It is a great pillow as I have always had a hard time finding the right pillow.
Pillows are important for proper sleep.
However, I find they are making the pillows bigger and bigger and not very comfortable.
You want a pillow that can keep a good posture of your back and neck whether lying on your side.
This one you can add or remove how much you want so you can get the right height to keep your ideal posture and keep your airways open!!
Have you ever wondered why you or someone else has a dark circle under their eyes?
I have since I was one of them.
When I was at my worst for sleeping, my dark circles under my eyes were really bad.
It comes back to how I was breathing - I was using my mouth instead of my nose at night time.
And a lot of people with sleep apnea or sleep disorder breathing also do the same.
When we don’t nose breathe, we do not get the benefit of nitric oxide and we tend to have lower carbon dioxide levels in our system as we breathe faster, which both of these gasses help to make our blood vessels bigger.
So without these two gasses, we end up constricting our blood vessels, which doesn’t allow the vein under the eye to function properly leading to venous pooling under the eye (dark circle under your eye).
And if you have been mouth breathing for long enough, your facial structures do not develop properly including the hole that this vein goes through.
So what do you do if you notice yourself or someone you know that has it?
This can be a sign of mouth breathing
So
Keep the nose clear
Be aware of how you are breathing

I don't know about you but if I can find one thing that can let all the other pieces fall into place, I would want that "One Thing"
What if that one thing is sleep?
You may be struggling with
patience
mood swings
emotional eating
fatigue
lack of motivation to do anything
weight gain
low mood
headaches
pain
sinus congestion,
All of these can be improved, if not eliminated with proper sleep.
When we have proper sleep, we allow ourselves to repair.
We feel better when we sleep better, our mood and patience is better.
We tend to eat better when we sleep better. We have less cravings for sweets.
We have energy to workout and motivation to do things.
All of my clients that joined and implemented the program struggled with a lot of the above issues and they have had significant improvement or elimination of their initial issues.
You can have this too.
Fixing your sleep, which includes sleep apnea, will allow everything else to fall into place.
It is hard to get the benefit of proper eating and exercise without having the foundation of sleep.
So if you have been struggling with any of those issues and you aren't sleeping well, then DM Me "Thing" to get started
Ever wake up feeling like you’ve barely slept, even after using your CPAP?
It’s like the stress of your business is weighing you down, and no matter what you do, you just can’t shake that exhaustion.
Then there’s the frustrating part—your jeans don’t fit like they used to.
You struggle to button them up, and suddenly, nothing in your closet seems to fit right anymore.
You haven’t changed your eating or exercise habits, so why is this happening?
It’s easy to feel ashamed and avoid the mirror, especially when this was never a problem before.
What you might not realize is that untreated sleep apnea can lead to unexplained weight gain.
When your sleep quality suffers, your hormones get out of balance—especially the ones that control your metabolism.
Before you know it, the scale starts creeping up, and your clothes don’t fit like they used to.
Have you ever experienced this?
🌟 Meet Shelly, a true inspiration! 🌟
When Shelly joined our program, she was struggling with sleep—either she couldn't fall asleep, or she couldn't stay asleep.
She'd wake up feeling anything but refreshed, and it took a toll on her entire day.
Low energy, difficulty focusing, slower recovery from injuries—it all added up.
She even turned to sleeping pills, but they left her feeling sedated, not truly rested.
But today, Shelly's story has taken a remarkable turn.
No more sleeping pills!
She's waking up rested, refreshed, and ready to take on the day. Her energy is back, her focus is sharp, and she's feeling better than ever.
I am so proud of Shelly and thrilled to be a part of her journey to better sleep and better health!
One of the unfortunate things is that when women get into perimenopause or menopause, their risk for sleep apnea increases.
And this can mean that symptoms that you get from sleep apnea can be similar to those for menopause.
Such as insomnia, hot flashes, tiredness, and brain fog.
If you have had braces in the past or teeth taken out, you may be one of these women that are at risk for sleep apnea or other forms of sleep disorder breathing.
It can be hard to tell them apart but it never hurts to get a sleep study or reach out to a professional, like myself, to see if you have the risk factors for sleep apnea and what you can do to help alleviate some of these symptoms.
Insomnia can be a form of sleep apnea or sleep disorder breathing.
Especially if you are female as we become perimenopausal and menopausal we are at higher risk of sleep apnea due to the change of estrogen and progesterone levels.
And you are at higher risk of sleep apnea if you have braces or wisdom teeth out, grind or clench your teeth.
It can present as insomnia.
You can be waking up before the apnea happens.
If you have tried everything for your insomnia and still can't sleep, DM me "Insomnia" and I will send you a quiz that you can do to see if you are risk for sleep apnea.
It was a running joke with his family as he would fall asleep.
"When we play a puzzle or memory (game) and I lie on the floor, I can just pass out in the middle of it and they grab my shoulder, saying, 'You're sleeping again, Dad'."-
He isn’t the only athlete who thinks he is just tired because he is a parent and professional athlete.
This is sometimes how athletes get missed.
He has broken his nose several times and has a hard time breathing through his one nostril.
This can be the reason he has it or there can be more things contributing to it.
Can you breathe out of both of your nostrils?
Meet Kelly, one of our program success stories!
For years, Kelly battled with restless nights, spending hours trying to fall back asleep and dealing with jaw pain and teeth grinding.
But guess what?
She decided to make a change, and the results are incredible!
Kelly is now enjoying a solid 7-8 hours of restful sleep, and her energy levels are back to when she was younger.
No more relying on coffee and naps to power through the day.
Guess what? Kelly even achieved a perfect 100 on her sleep score!
If you're nodding along and thinking, "That sounds like me," it's time for your own transformation!
DM me 'Kelly' to kickstart your journey toward restful nights and energized days.
All I have to say is that I love wild blueberries.
Plus they are so good for you.
Blueberries are the king of antioxidant foods!
Antioxidants help get rid of these molecules in your body that can lead to disease and cancers.
With untreated or poorly treated sleep apnea, you have increase risk of getting other diseases and cancers
Plus wild blueberries have been shown to prioritize fat as fuel over carbohydrates. It can help you lose weight!!!
So go get those wild blueberries.
We are fortunate to live in area where we can pick our own
You can eat them fresh on their own or in green salad or fruit salad or bake with them.
I have wild blueberries every morning as part of my breakfast.
What do you have for breakfast?
You've been living with sleep apnea for a long time.
You've tried the CPAP machine, but it annoyed you so much that you stopped using it.
Once again, you wake up in the morning exhausted, feeling defeated before the day even begins.
With a young family to take care of and a business to run, you pour yourself a cup of coffee to get through the day.
But that one cup has gradually increased to three or four, just to keep going.
Despite collapsing into bed each night from sheer exhaustion, you still wake up feeling as tired as before. This vicious circle is beyond frustrating.
But here's the thing: you don’t need to live like this.
Coffee might be making your sleep worse, lingering in your system for hours. It's not the solution to your fatigue.
There are other ways to treat sleep apnea that don’t involve the CPAP machine.
Let’s break the cycle and make your days great again by truly sleeping well.
Who is in?
Success Story Spotlight: Meet Ray
When Ray joined our program, he was struggling with sleep.
Diagnosed with moderate to severe sleep apnea 4 years ago, he faced nightly battles with his CPAP machine.
The mask would come off, get caught when he rolled around, and he’d wake up feeling like he was run over by a truck.
His mind was foggy, and focusing on running his business was a challenge. Coffee became his crutch to get through the day.
Today, Ray's life has transformed: He's sleeping better ✨ Wakes up refreshed ✨ Has clarity, focus, and concentration
Ray no longer needs his CPAP machine. No more worries about wearing, cleaning, or traveling with it!
If Ray’s story resonates with you and you want the same success, DM me "Ray" to get started on your journey to better sleep and a better life
Surgery may not fix your sleep
Beware If you have been told that you are sleep apnea will be solved by surgery.
It can actually do the opposite.
It can make it worse.
A lot of times the muscles aren’t working properly and they need to be retrained to function properly.
So cutting through them won’t do it.
It is very similar to when people have back surgery. Surgery on its own will not get rid of the back pain. Muscles need to be worked on.
What has been your experience?
When Oliver started the program, he was having a hard time sleeping and waking up throughout the night. He would pull off his CPAP throughout the night.
He would wake up unfreshed.
He had a hard time to focus at work.
He wouldn't have energy for his kids or his friends as he would say no to opportunities that came up.
But now he has more focus at work and energy to say yes instead of no!
If you can relate to Oliver, DM me "Oliver" to start yes to things instead of no!
Sleeping pills are a safe treatment for sleep apnea
Unfortunately sleeping pills will not solve your sleep apnea.
It can actually make it worse as some sleeping pills can slow down your breathing which can make your apnea worse.
Plus you aren’t actually sleeping when you take them, you are more sedated.
Have you been using sleeping pills to help your sleep apnea?
Sleep apnea myth
Kids can’t have sleep apnea
Sleep apnea doesn’t discriminate.
Babies can be born with it.
Does your child snore, grind their teeth or have behaviour issues?
They may have sleep apnea.
If you want to see what their risk is for sleep apnea, DM me “Kids" and I will send you a quiz.
Athletes don't have sleep apnea? Think again!
It's time to debunk the misconception that sleep apnea only affects certain people.
This condition doesn't discriminate, and athletes can be just as prone to it.
Here's the deal: intense physical activity builds up your sleep pressure during the day and the more sleep pressure you have, the less likely you are to wake up during the night.
However, athletes might be sleeping through the night but doesn’t mean their sleep quality is great.
You can still feel like you are rested as if you never had great sleep quality, you don’t know what it is.
This lack of quality sleep can hinder recovery, slow skill development, and leave you feeling exhausted despite all that training!
If you've had braces or teeth taken out, you might be at risk and not even know it!
So, calling all athletes and friends of athletes!
Do you suspect sleep apnea might be interfering with your game?

Sleep Apnea Myth #3: CPAP is the Only Solution!
Did you know that approximately 50% of CPAP users can't tolerate it?
Don't let frustration take away your good night's sleep!
There are numerous alternatives depending on the root cause of your sleep apnea.
If you're struggling with your CPAP or exploring other options, I'm here to help!
DM me "CPAP" to kickstart your journey towards restful nights and a healthier you.
Let's find the perfect solution tailored just for you!
Let’s meet Ryan!
He was struggling with his sleep, waking up not fully rested was pulling him down.
It started to negatively impact his life.
He went to several sleep doctors, dentists, specialists, Inspire surgeons, … and he continuously struggled with the CPAP, and the doctors would just tell me, “you’ll get used to it, just give it another month”.
Twelve months later, he gave up on the CPAP. He was completely miserable.
He couldn’t do it anymore.
He researched everything… from masks, breathing strips, surgical procedures, new pillows, a device to force himself to sleep on my side, and beyond… one day, he found one of my reels on Instagram.
We set up a discovery call.
He was a little scared, meeting someone from Instagram – kind of felt like a blind date!
However, he decided to get onboard with my Sleep Apnea Program that same day.
Within weeks, he noticed a significant improvement in his sleep quality and overall well-being.
This is what he has to say about the program
“Thanks to Tierney, I am sleeping so much better and my partner says I am even snoring less.
The professionalism and empathy displayed by Tierney made each week a positive experience. She listened attentively to my concerns, addressed any questions I had, and adapted my plan based on my progress. I am sleeping much more sound through the night, and finally, waking up feeling refreshed. I cannot recommend her services highly enough to anyone struggling with sleep apnea. Sleep Apnea Program is really a life-changing program! 5 out of 5 stars!”
If you can relate to Ryan’s story and would like to finally sleep well, DM me “Ryan” to book your consultation call.
Ryan Yannetta
So, you may have recently found out that you have mild sleep apnea, where you experience 5-15 events an hour where you stop breathing for at least 10 seconds per event.
That's like stopping breathing for 2-3 minutes per hour!
You might be thinking, "It's mild, so it's not a big deal, right?"
Even mild sleep apnea is a significant compromise of oxygen to the brain.
Every cell in your body is on 24 hour cycle so when you don’t sleep well, it impacts everything.
When you have sleep apnea, you are at higher risk for diabetes, cardiovascular issues such as high blood pressure or even a heart attack. This list can go on and on.
It doesn't just affect sleep quality; it impacts your overall well-being.
Ever had a sleep study that said you're fine, but you still feel something's off?
Turns out, even if you have less than 5 events per hour, you could still be stopping breathing for about a minute an hour.
What has been your experience?
It is no longer acceptable or desirable to just make teeth fit - Dr. Steven Lamberg
If you were like me and had wisdom teeth taken out and braces then this can be a reason you have sleep apnea or a form of sleep disorder breathing such as upper airway resistance syndrome.
The reason for this is that we are trying to fit our teeth into our mouth instead of making our mouth fit our teeth!
This results in our airways being compromised.
Do not be discouraged reading this.
Use this as inspiration as this can be a reason you have sleep apnea and you can address it!
Do you have sleep apnea and had braces or wisdom teeth taken out in the past?
Just got the news - they want you to wear this DAMN machine to bed!
You feel like you’'ve joined the dark side, sounding like Darth Vader and all.
How are you supposed to sleep with this thing on?
But guess what? There's a new hope!
You don't have to be stuck with the CPAP struggle.
Take my client Ray for example, who started with severe sleep apnea and the CPAP life but has now ditched the machine and sleeping the best he has ever slept.
If you're ready to break free from the CPAP saga, DM me "Machine" to book a consultation.
Let's explore other options and see if you qualify for a sleep apnea solution that doesn't involve sounding like a sci-fi villain every night!
