If you’d like to change your date, a second sitting fee would be required. We appreciate your understanding in these changes to our booking terms and conditions!

Good news, buds! New spots are opening up for THIS Saturday from 10am to 3pm. We’ll post the link on our website tonight at 9pm. More dates will open in the next week or so and Yes, we will definitely be shooting Xmas shoots this November!

Wow, our October 1 shoot date is filling up fast! Lots of returning faces coming back again this year! We’ll be running two sets on October 1st, so lots of hustle and bustle and we’re really excited to fill the studio with people again. We’ll see you soon!

We’re back!!

Thanks to everyone who has reached out to book shoots for this year in the studio. While our school list is growing and has doubled since last year, we’re also happy to say we can finally confirm at least one studio date and many more to come.

Well, well, well! It’s been a while, friends, but we’re back this Sunday and we’ve still got lots of spots open. Sarah + Rachelle are in the studio from 10am to 2pm for school + sport pics. There’s also candy! Booking link is in our profile. We’ll see you on Sunday!

Proud Dad moment. We’ve been shooting for a lot of teams the last few weeks but this one was extra special. I remember when she was just a little girl, out there chucking the ball up at a net she couldn’t even reach. I know, you hate to hear it, but we’re so proud of you, Lola Jean. Thanks to the (White-Thompson)Bedford Eagles u14 team for having us!!

Fresh Pineapple Christmas pics coming in! Blue is definitely the colour of the year so far and this background is the most popular, by a long shot. Full day and evening tomorrow and then again this Sunday! Keep an eye on the bookings as cancellations and reschedulings are happening all the time.

It’s a lot of fun when we get to shoot for the kids who’s parents we used to work with decades ago and as parents we share the same bad hair cut stories and just roll with it! Thanks to Steve and Sarah for letting us share these!

New backgrounds!!! You asked and we keep on listening. We just added three new backgrounds to the mix. These selections works best with muted and neutral tones, but if you want a Ramonea t shirt and some fall leaves, we can dig it! (thanks for letting us test drive these, Jillian!)

Do we shoot for kids under 5?

We get this question a lot, so I thought I’d post about it here and explain why we have age limits. It’s clear that it’s frustrating to some folks, so hopefully this will help.
We tried to find the sweet spot in the Venn Diagram of Good Fast and Cheap. To be honest, I think we found it. Volume photography inevitably requires a certain level of speed and repetition. For us, the GOOD is top priority through the entire process. The system that we have works well with kids who can take direction and follow along with the process. Kids are kids and some are shy and some are a not. We don’t force perfect smiles if they aren’t perfect smile kind of kids. It’s a relaxed but remains systematic in its approach. The younger kids, for the same reason they don’t attend schools yet, don’t fit well into this approach. This leads to less than great product that we produce and less satisfaction on your end as the clients. At the heart of this, it is school photography for school kids. We’re not excluding the ankle biters on purpose. We don’t hate little kids lol. Quite simply, we can’t consistently produce a good product in the system we have for kids under 5. We do acknowledge that some kids 4 and under love the camera and would do great, but to be fair to everyone, we have set the age limit to school age children only. I hope this quells some of the frustration we get from the parents with school aged kids who can’t have the younger ones included. We’re not trying to anger or exclude anyone, we’re simply trying to be consistent and deliver quality images to everyone that comes here.

It’s been a wild and crazy year and we’re looking forward to a lot of laughs and smiles back in the studio.
